This is a family style pizza place in Providence. It is always busy . It is very easy to park. Although, there only a few items on the menu it is very tasty pan style pizza. This place is also self service so you don't have to pay tip. It therefore is very reasonably priced, quick, loud, and fun place to eat.

I came to Cassarino's with some colleagues of mine recently, and I was very very pleased with our dinner. We were seated at a nice table on the 2nd floor and had friendly, efficient service from a great waitress. Everything came with perfect timing. The menu had all the basics for a solid Italian restaurant, and the portions were huge. Everybody loved their entrees. I found the chicken & escarole soup to be extra fresh and flavorful. I loved the clear broth and torn chicken pieces. The flavors complemented each other perfectly and made for an ideal, uncomplicated soup. I had a special entree with pork tenderloin over pasta in a marsala cream sauce. Prosciutto and tomatoes were mixed in the sauce. The tomatoes tasted great, though the large chunks were a bit confusing, and I wished the pieces of pork were smaller...but I really cannot complain, the taste was out of this world. My colleagues had huge portions of eggplant parm and spaghetti. I'd definitely go back.
Pros: Great, solid Italian dishes. Well-priced. Friendly service

The steak is the best I have ever had and the chicken was really good and only $22 and big enough to take home. The sides are all a la carte, but you can ask for a half size. The martinis are very good. The chocolate flourless cake never dissapoints. The staff is great and they take take very good care of you. It is a treat to go there since it is expensive but worth every penny! You have to make sure you make reservations or you will probably wait a while for a table especially on a Saturday night.
Pros: Steak, Martinis, Service, Very Romantic
Cons: Wouldnt Take Kids

The clam chowder was fantastic, flavorful and creamy! The best i have ever had. The sushi is just amazing, high quality, melt in your mouth freshness that can't be compared to anything else in this city. The steaks are also unbeatable. Prime, delicious meat. The service was attentive and helpful without being overbearing.
will be back!
Pros: great service
Cons: noisy

We had been told by our Chauffeur, Dennis Murphy of Whatcheer Chauffeuring, 401-486-0840, that if we wanted great NE Seafood, then Hemenway's was one of the best, so we said, take us there please. Was he right or what, dang... we love seafood, especially Gulf seafood, but wow, we tried such dishes as the littleneck steamers, the clams casino, the special 2-lb. lobster that was stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crab meat, and more lobster then baked with sprinklings of bread crumbs. My main course was their Seafood Casserole, which made me feel I was in King Neptune’s food court with all the different types of seafood such as shrimp, lobster, scallops and fish baked in the bowl under a thin crust of breadcrumbs.
Our waiter, Tom, proved to us that service excellence was still alive with his assistance in not only his tableside service, but his helpful suggestion of matching wine, and cocktails. I do hope management is aware of his talents in making customers feel welcome and special as he did as we celebrated a belated wedding anniversary. Our evening was topped off by their “Mile High” Key Lime Pie, and coffee, and then a nice selection of their Ports.
All we can say is that we will be back, the next time we get up this way from the Houston area. Oh… thanks also for the relief from that Texas heat.
Pros: The New England Seafood & Our Waiter, Tom
Cons: We are leaving town in the morning

Before I came here, I had no idea that traditional deep dish had the sauce on the top. However, besides my stupidity, the deep dish pizza is amazing! I don't know if its the just crispy/doughy/flakey enough crust, or else there is something in the cheese that just makes it taste different and better than most...but altogether its delicious! While it is a little bit more expensive than the normal pizza pies, you can get it in "baby" size which is pretty much a small personal pizza for under 6 dollars. They deliver late, are open late, and are never crowded enough that I have to wait for a table. The wait for food is alittle long, but the stuffed or deep dish pizza is well worth it.

Fellini's is our family's favorite pizza place in Providence. Their red onion and pepperoni pizza is probably our absolute favorite pizza in the world. We love the variety of toppings, the Italian sodas, and the pleasant counter staff. There is also an old-fashioned pinball machine in the shop, and we enjoy playing while we wait for our pizza.
