I have passed Ortobello many times and never thought to go in. Nothing about it jumped out at me and got my attention. Then, a friend who lives close by raved about the food, and I decided to go one night with her and check it out. I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very small and there is indeed very limited seating. If you are looking for a trendy atmosphere, this is NOT the place for you. Instead, it is cozy and comfortable. The food is absolutely fantastic!!!! I could not get enough of the house balsamic dressing, and the portions are the largest I've seen anywhere. Two people can definitely share a main course. As a matter of fact, I brought my leftovers home and got two more meals out of it!! I was so impressed that I brought my husband back the following week and he raved about it. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is not concerned with atmosphere, but is looking for some EXCELLENT food!!!
