If there is anything worse than a cosmetic surgeon with both poor aesthetic and surgical skill, it is one who refuses to listen to his patients. On the first as well as revision procedures performed, Dr. Magilke disregarded my preferances and concerns, choosing instead his gestalt approach to facial harmony. I could not understand, frankly, why Dr. Magilke takes photographs from multiple angles but uses only one in his assessment - which, again, does not include the opinions of the patient, who is after all the one living with whatever result is produced. I must recommend that those seeking skin treatments do so with trained dermatologists, and I have to wonder if physicians trained in plastic surgery - rather than ENT - make better cosmetic surgeons. Even then, a physician who will not confirm that a specific treatment plan is agreeable to the patient's wishes is bound to create poor outcomes.
