I had seen the z pizza delivery car in my neighborhood a few weeks ago. We are always looking for quality delivery and decided to give them a try. i attempted to order online, and their site was not firefox compatible. After spending 15 minutes to pick out our food, creating the order, filling in all the information, I had to call them, and they didn't get the order. Switched to IE and finally got the order placed. I received an email with an order timestamp of 6:12 pm. The email stated I would receive my food in 30 minutes. I waited 45 minutes and then called the restaurant. They said that they had my order and it had ""just left"". 10 minutes later, I received a call from them that they needed directions. I gave them directions to my house. another 20 minutes pass and they still haven't arrived. I call back and the same person who I had been speaking to all evening says that she lied to me before and that my food was still sitting in the kitchen waiting for delivery. I explained to her that it was now over 1 hour and 20 minutes past the time I placed my order and that i had a 2 year old who had yet to be fed as a result. She got all huffy and said ""we got slammed"". I said that I understood that, but that doesn't excuse telling me 35 minutes ago that my food had left the restaurant when it was still sitting there right now. Then she said, ""I don't know what I'm supposed to do about that, I guess I'll get in my car and drive it to you myself"". I calmly explained to her that it wasn't about the fact that they were running behind, it was about the poor communication as I had a 2 year old I was trying to feed and put to bed. She then said she'd give me a coupon for a discount on my next order. It took until 7:50 for my food to show. When it got here, it was cold and there was no coupon for a discount on my next order. The driver was very kind and arranged to have the charge reversed, but the way I was treated until that point was unacceptable.
