I live nearby and frequent all the Thai restaurants in the area. While Long Tan has the greatest bar (the drinks are awesome, especially the plum wine sangria, and they have a second happy hour 11pm-1am!), I have to say the food is disappointing. Everything is more expensive than other thai-owned restaurants nearby, but blander, less creative, with less fresh ingredients. Don't be fooled by the creativity of the menu, most of the food is just not good. Also, Long Tan is the kind of place where ""trendy""=""servers who are too cool for school."" I don't like it when servers don't really know anything, and are kind of rude and inattentive. The decor really is beautiful inside, but if you want good Thai food go elsewhere. Stick to the bar at Long Tan.
Pros: great drinks, beautiful decor
Cons: lousy service, lousy food
