we get bad reception in downtown L.A. & don't have cable. the college basketball game we wanted to see was nearly unwatchable from home, so we rang up some places nearby. they were more than happy to put on the game for us, so we darted over for the second half. our bartender was so sweet! we chatted a bit (mid-day, pretty empty) and the drinks were affordable. (beer: $2.50 domestic / $3.00 mexican). pool tables. no food.
