perfect atmosphere for Asian fusion, great looking menu....longer than anticipated wait, poor service at every turn and food that was so close to excellent. We went last night to try it out and were hopeful given Durham's lack of progressive Asian options. As you can see, we came away confused. The dumplings were fantastic, while the curry and chow mein, were just good, if a tad bit too salty. The service was not good at all, it took a long time to get a table, we waited at the bar for drinks for a long time, our food was slow and the check was slow. Worst of all, there was a funky garbage smell inside the main room (we at outside which was great).
We'll go back and see if a little time smooths out the wrinkles.
