In a region famed for its Mexican fare, this is the best. Entrees are generous enough to share; flavors are vibrant; the salsa is worthy of bottling. The prices are unbeatable and the atmosphere is absolutely charming in a throwback kinda way. My only gripe (and this is grasping at a straw, I admit) is the horribly bright lighting in the secondary dining room. Everything else about this little jewel in dusty old El Paso is worth a special trip. You can pay several times more at lots of places and leave much less satisfied.
Pros: food, service, value
Cons: bad lighting in part, tight parking
