I stumbled upon the Annex when I first moved here from NYC. The subway-like stair entrance to the basement lured me in. Inside I found fantastic fresh-squezed cocktails and friendly servers. They offer a great liquor selection (including my favorite vodka-grey goose) and all of their cocktails contain fresh squeezed juice. I highly recommend the Tuaca Sidecar or Cosmo. The ambience is dark and inviting and the art shows and DJs are a welcome addition to this wonderful bar. I like the upstairs when I am alone to people watch, and the downstairs when I am with friends.
