While the Wild Animal Park is similar to the Zoo, it's not as interactive. You can't pet and play with as many animals as you can at the Zoo. There's a neat tram ride around the park, but you're lucky if you can get through it without getting stung by a bee! Beware if you go in the summer. The temperatures can get into the 100s. The shows are great though.
