State street is a must see for anyone who visits Santa Barbara. But if you plan on going back for regualar visits, the throngs of tourists will probably bother you. Plenty of local and national stores to shop in, really fun restaurants, and even a museum or two. Parking's not too difficult if you follow the city parking lot signs.
