This caffe has been one of the places that I kept visiting over the years.
It used to be great place to go for tiramisu or some other pastries, right now their prices have become increasingly scary (close to $3 for eclaire?) and the quality of pastries has gone down considerable. I only go for the palmiers (still pretty good) and a few other thing like scones. There were crepes with romanoff sauces and other assortments, right now all you get is chocolate and Hershey chocolate at best.
The sandwiches are OK but everything on the hot counter is recycled for the next day. Their staff make probably the worst esspresso, cappucino or any other specialty coffee - stick to the french roast percolated, you won't regret it.
Pros: bread, french rost coffee, some pastries
Cons: horrible esspresso, horrible capuccino
