Good place to stay in DC 11/29/2006

One Washington Circle has a lot going for it. It is located right across from George Washington University in the Foggy Bottom District and is right by a metro stop. It offers many good deals throughout the year on its rooms and each room has a kitchenette. The problem with this hotel is the high level of incompetence among the staff. Upon check in my friend was given the wrong room and I had the wrong credit card billed upon check out-a mess that took the front desk a very long time to straighten out. The rooms, however, are clean and comfortable. If you are willing to tolerate some incompetence in exchange for a lower price/good location I would recommend this hotel. Huge rooms, a bit shabby 2/9/2006

I stayed here on a weekend trip to Washington. The rooms are converted from apartments into hotel rooms, so they are very large with a full kitchen, balcony, sitting room, dining room. The problem is, they are not well kept up on. There was a large hole in the wall badly patched in the living room and the furnishings were on the shabby side. Not a bad place to stay, but not stellar either. more
