Lynn de Carlo is absolutely out of this world! I followed her to the Envy salon from the place she worked before. I fell in love with her after our first encounter ?that was a while ago. I had my own hairstylist that was very good; I was satisfied but not thrilled. I always thought that amazing haircuts/styles are only for the Hollywood people, there are certain hairstylists that go to certain schools?.?I always wanted a red carped hairstyle, where every strand is perfectly trimmed , colored, styled and in the right place.
I met/tried soooooooo many hairstylists until now, but she is by far the BEST one. Lynn De Carlo is the whole package- not only she does amazing haircuts /hairstyles but she is a perfectionist that would not let a strand escape her brush until is not PERFECT, no matter the time it takes. All this would not be possible without the passion she has for what she is doing and her continuous hard work to learn and keep herself updated with everything that is new in the hair fashion world. I noticed that only very smart people are studying continuously, this being one of the reasons they are so smart and she is one of them. I never saw a hairstylist that goes to so many courses and reads so much about her job. This is one of the many things that make her stand out of the pool of stylists.
More than that, you enjoy being in her chair: she knows how to make you feel important; you are treated like you are the center of the universe; she always takes the time to listen what you say and makes sure she understands exactly what you are looking for/ or that what she did was what you wanted.. Usually, you get what you wanted and a little bit extra! She always makes the effort to give you the perfect experience.
By all means, she is a perfectionist in the good sense! In her hands your hair is treated with respect and professionalisms, even more, you hair becomes an ongoing project for her. She will individualize the shampoo/conditioner depending on your needs at that particular moment (dry-scaly scalp, dull/tired color or just a itchy scaly spot).
Let?s face it: all hairs look better after a shampoo and a trim: but only a perfect trim, color and styling would make your hair stand out and make you feel so much better about yourself. Even though I?ve known her for a long time, I continue to be impressed with her tireless attention to detail and desire to make you happy.
You will never regret you had this experience with her, because having anything done by Lynn is a beautiful experience with a beautiful human being. Enjoy the journey!

This is a family style pizza place in Providence. It is always busy . It is very easy to park. Although, there only a few items on the menu it is very tasty pan style pizza. This place is also self service so you don't have to pay tip. It therefore is very reasonably priced, quick, loud, and fun place to eat.

I don't know what that guy is saying about the pizza being different.Over 20 years ago my wife and I used to hang out at Caserta while dating. The had a franchise going and we used to visit to the one in Narragansett called 'Serta by the Sea. There was another one in Warwick too near Sandy Bottom Lane. They only franchised the name for a few years and then those places changed their names.Last year we just decided out of the blue to go to the original location in Providence. We were amazed and pleased that it was exactly the same as it was 25 years ago. Our 21 year old son wasn't around then and he agrees with us on this, Caserta has the best pizza in Rhode Island.

I came to Cassarino's with some colleagues of mine recently, and I was very very pleased with our dinner. We were seated at a nice table on the 2nd floor and had friendly, efficient service from a great waitress. Everything came with perfect timing. The menu had all the basics for a solid Italian restaurant, and the portions were huge. Everybody loved their entrees. I found the chicken & escarole soup to be extra fresh and flavorful. I loved the clear broth and torn chicken pieces. The flavors complemented each other perfectly and made for an ideal, uncomplicated soup. I had a special entree with pork tenderloin over pasta in a marsala cream sauce. Prosciutto and tomatoes were mixed in the sauce. The tomatoes tasted great, though the large chunks were a bit confusing, and I wished the pieces of pork were smaller...but I really cannot complain, the taste was out of this world. My colleagues had huge portions of eggplant parm and spaghetti. I'd definitely go back.
Pros: Great, solid Italian dishes. Well-priced. Friendly service

I had a stylist named Michelle at Christiaan Salon and Day Spa. She’s worked there for 10 years. You can tell she has a lot of experience. It was so easy to talk to her about my hair needs. I wanted to go darker with my hair color but she told me it would look harsh with my complexion, so she did some subtle highlights and some golds and I look fabulous. My boyfriend loved it and he never says anything about my hair.

The steak is the best I have ever had and the chicken was really good and only $22 and big enough to take home. The sides are all a la carte, but you can ask for a half size. The martinis are very good. The chocolate flourless cake never dissapoints. The staff is great and they take take very good care of you. It is a treat to go there since it is expensive but worth every penny! You have to make sure you make reservations or you will probably wait a while for a table especially on a Saturday night.
Pros: Steak, Martinis, Service, Very Romantic
Cons: Wouldnt Take Kids

The clam chowder was fantastic, flavorful and creamy! The best i have ever had. The sushi is just amazing, high quality, melt in your mouth freshness that can't be compared to anything else in this city. The steaks are also unbeatable. Prime, delicious meat. The service was attentive and helpful without being overbearing.
will be back!
Pros: great service

We had been told by our Chauffeur, Dennis Murphy of Whatcheer Chauffeuring, 401-486-0840, that if we wanted great NE Seafood, then Hemenway's was one of the best, so we said, take us there please. Was he right or what, dang... we love seafood, especially Gulf seafood, but wow, we tried such dishes as the littleneck steamers, the clams casino, the special 2-lb. lobster that was stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crab meat, and more lobster then baked with sprinklings of bread crumbs. My main course was their Seafood Casserole, which made me feel I was in King Neptune’s food court with all the different types of seafood such as shrimp, lobster, scallops and fish baked in the bowl under a thin crust of breadcrumbs.
Our waiter, Tom, proved to us that service excellence was still alive with his assistance in not only his tableside service, but his helpful suggestion of matching wine, and cocktails. I do hope management is aware of his talents in making customers feel welcome and special as he did as we celebrated a belated wedding anniversary. Our evening was topped off by their “Mile High” Key Lime Pie, and coffee, and then a nice selection of their Ports.
All we can say is that we will be back, the next time we get up this way from the Houston area. Oh… thanks also for the relief from that Texas heat.
Pros: The New England Seafood & Our Waiter, Tom
Cons: We are leaving town in the morning
