Y.S. Lynda Lee, M.D.

Dr. Lynda Lee is a fabulous doctor who takes her time with the patients and really wants to help them and cares about them. She is such a wonderful doctor that she books months in advance. The down side is that her staff is slow. They never answer the phones, take days or even a week or so to call you back, even after numerous calls to their office. more

Dr. Lee is a remarkable Doctor, she is thorough, compassionate, and gives you as much time as you need to discuss your issues and treatment options. In order to give you all the time YOU need, it means she may run late. I never seem to mind as I figure the patient before me needed more of her time and I in turn will not be cut short. I now understand this may happen and come prepared with things to do. I would recommend her to anyone with Rhuematoid problems as long as they understand she is popular and in great demand. I wish I could clone her for my other physical needs. more

She very well may be a great doctor, but I wouldn't know since I can't seem to get in touch with her or see her. It took her assistant 30 minutes on the phone to schedule my first appointment, she was having me give her information to fill out forms, which she then just sent to me to fill out again. I had to wait for 30 minutes by myself in the exam room in the middle of my first appointment, supposedly to read 2 small pamphlets, I thought the doc. had forgotten about me. I had to wait for almost an hour for a follow up appointment, the doctor never even showed up...I eventually just left without having seen her. I had to call twice to get the results of my lab work, and then the receptionist called me back to tell me that I had to get the lab work redone since the lab work showed some bad news. Fine, but they didn't get me a lab slip, nor any instructions whether they wanted me to come in, if I could just go back to the lab, etc. I guess I'll just have to keep calling them back until they feel like calling me back with some instructions. Meanwhile, I'm worried that I might be sick, due to the lab results and I can't get advice from this doctor. more

I have been going to Dr. Lee for many years and she is incredibly thorough, consistent and COMPASSIONATE! She involves me directly in my health care decisions and on each occasion I have visited her, she makes me feel like I am her only patient. She makes certain that all of my concerns and questions are fully addressed before leaving. Altho she only treats my rheumatoid/fibromyalgia conditions, I wish I could CLONE her for every other specialist I see...she is that incredible! I drive two hours to see her and I would gladly double the distance...! more

Dr. Lee is a wonderful rheumatologist who actually spends a lot of time talking and listening to the patient. During the first visit, she is very comprehensive, asking for your version of events that led you to see her. She then does a full body physical exam (of course, less thorough than a family doc since she is a specialist) and focuses on the areas that bother you. After an hour or so of that, she lists all the options you have and fully explains the initial diagnosis. I am unfortunate enough to have "inflammatory arthritis," meaning I have arthritis, but it's too hard to pinpoint it to a particular type. Dr. Lee explained everything until I understood what was going on and actually let me decide if I wanted to take the medicine or use alternative medicine. Usually doctors just whip out their prescription pad and say, "Take this for this many days and you'll be fine. Come back in so many weeks. Bye!" Her visits are quite refreshing from the 5-minute doctor visits. But beware: if you do not have insurance, her practice charges quite a bit! more
