I have 4 kids and tend to move around a lot so I've been through many pediatricians. Dr. Michelle Loftis is by far the best we've had so far. She is great with the kids at their level and also excellent at communicating with parents which can be the most difficult part. I never feel rushed at her office and she will always return a phone call promptly. Her staff is also very attentive and answers many questions. Whenever I've wanted my children seen, they've always managed to fit us in that day! It's hard to find service like this from a doctor's office these days. The group that she is in, Ramblc Pediatrics, also has saturday hours for sick kids which is great.

I have been going to Dr. Lee for many years and she is incredibly thorough, consistent and COMPASSIONATE! She involves me directly in my health care decisions and on each occasion I have visited her, she makes me feel like I am her only patient. She makes certain that all of my concerns and questions are fully addressed before leaving. Altho she only treats my rheumatoid/fibromyalgia conditions, I wish I could CLONE her for every other specialist I see...she is that incredible! I drive two hours to see her and I would gladly double the distance...!

We've been Kaiser members for going on 5 years now and I'm very pleased with them. Yes, I've heard all the complaints and horror stories, but my experience with them has been overwhelmingly positive. (It helps to be fairly medically literate and to try to connect with your caregiver.) Where they really excel is at routine, common stuff--gall bladder removal, pregnancy & delivery, etc. They also are expanding into offering chiropractic, accupuncture etc. Some say the Kaiser model is the future of medicine. If that's the case, I think that's just fine.

After a getting a prescription from my doctor for the treatment of a common infection, I went over to Forest Avenue Pharmacy to have it fulfilled. The counter was modestly busy that day and there was a line. I waited about 50 minutes because of some hold up with someone's paperwork. It was a far cry from the 15 minutes that I was told it would take.

We are so lucky that San Jose has a CCHR chapter.
If you or someone you know, has been abused by a psychologist or psychiatrist contact CCHR. They will help you take action.
I witnessed CCHR assist someone, being held against their will in a mental hospital, get released from that hospital. They have assisted in filing law suits against psychs. They are very for you if you have been abused in any way.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 18 and had been to many optometrist in the bay area. This store is 1 of the biggest store with the largest selection of frames i have ever seen. Very knowledgable staff and doctor is very helpful and eager to address any question i have. The staff als fine tune my frame and do any adjustment for me. I took my girlfriend her and she is very picky. She have nothing bad to say but alot of good things to say.
