Businiess name:  Y.S. Lynda Lee, M.D.

Review content:
Dr. Lee is a wonderful rheumatologist who actually spends a lot of time talking and listening to the patient. During the first visit, she is very comprehensive, asking for your version of events that led you to see her. She then does a full body physical exam (of course, less thorough than a family doc since she is a specialist) and focuses on the areas that bother you. After an hour or so of that, she lists all the options you have and fully explains the initial diagnosis. I am unfortunate enough to have "inflammatory arthritis," meaning I have arthritis, but it's too hard to pinpoint it to a particular type. Dr. Lee explained everything until I understood what was going on and actually let me decide if I wanted to take the medicine or use alternative medicine. Usually doctors just whip out their prescription pad and say, "Take this for this many days and you'll be fine. Come back in so many weeks. Bye!" Her visits are quite refreshing from the 5-minute doctor visits. But beware: if you do not have insurance, her practice charges quite a bit!
