Small classes for beginning and anxious swimmers. The teachers are great at getting the kids comfortable in the water by playing games and singing songs. They also have great props to help the kids get used to the water. Classes for babies and parents up to older kids. More pricey than community ed, but they have smaller classes and more individual time. more

Great Lessons 7/30/2005

Wise Swim school offers swim lessons with very low ratios (4 to 1). The lessons use a variety of teaching tools that assist students in the development of their skills. The teachers all do a wonderful job and the program is clearly laid out. When you look at the prices, they seem high and they are higher than other lessons. However the ratios are much lower. Other lessons I have seen are either 1 to 6 or 1 to 8 ratios. I have also seen other programs where the teachers appeared to not be trained as well. more
