When you are pregnant, the term neurologist and craniosynotosis are not really a part of your vocabulary, or thoughts. When you are told the day after your son's birth that he will have to undergo neurosurgery at 3 months of age to fix a birth defect...nothing can prepare you.
Luckily, I had the pleasure of being referred to Dr. Ken Weiner. Their office at Children's Hospital is comfortable and the staff is pleasant. They answer all of your questions, and they make you feel like the surgery is "routine". I am so glad these doctors were in charge of my son's surgery.
