Four of the employees of "We Care Hair" have moved upstairs in UTC to the THIRD floor to work for Salon David Perez (above the US Post Office). This salon caters to LONG 4-hour appointments and so appointments are encouraged but not essential. The "We Care Hair" employees are often looking for old faithful customers downstairs, sometimes at Starbucks sometimes at Bookstar. The scum who shut down "We Care Hair" ( SuckerCuts ) harass them and have threatened to call the Police when they try to approach their old, faithful customers. Used to be a great place, but they sold just recently to Supercuts, and the people that are staffing the new megachain look like the dregs of all the local hair places. Sad, but We Care Hair is gone, and will be missed. more

This is a great salon geared mainly for men's hair care. The stylists are excellent and my husband thinks they can do miracles with his hair. My husband swears by this place, and a couple of times he has snuck in during his lunch hour to get his do done; they're that fast and reliable. You can either just walk in or call ahead to save even more time. The prices are very reasonable for the level of quality in their work. Whereas I have several salons I frequent, my husband is pretty much stuck with this one for several years; they must be doing something right. more

My husband has been a customer here for 6 years and no matter where we move in San Diego he keeps coming back. The price is very reasonable for a Man's haircut, which is good because Men tend to need a haircut pretty frequently. It is also nice that you do not need an appointment you just sign in when you get there. If there is a particular hair cutter that you would like you can just request that person on the sign in sheet or else you will get the next hair cutter available. more

The reason that I've gotten my hair cut here? It's not the price because there are definitely cheaper alternatives elsewhere although their prices are reasonable for a haircut (less than $20 for a men's haircut). The service you receive is not bad, although I doubt people go there because of the excellent service. The haircut you get is again, of sufficient quality that you don't mind paying more than the cheapest haircuts out there. However, the best thing going for this place is the location, but that is probably only useful to you if you live nearby. But if you do, you may want to try them out when you're too lazy to go elsewhere. more
