Ladies if you have darker hair and want it highlighted and blonde then I have the answer for you..DAWSON is fabulous. I cannot begin to count all of the places I've tried just to be very disappointed and left with very damaged hair. Since going to Dawson I love my hair. It's so nice to get compliments on my hair. When you see Reba sitting in his chair that says alot right there. Prices are also great. Will never go to another stylist again. Thank you DAWSON. more

I bought a few as gifts and even got a couple for myself. The problem is that massages are only offered at very limited times and scheduling an appointmet is difficult. I have called several times and could never find availability. My voucher expires on June 10th. Called today (again) to find out there are no appointments until the middle of June. No offer to extend the deadline was made. They just said too bad, you're out of luck. more

Ok... I am an Los Angeles transplant and and super picky about who touches my face and does my hair. I was recommended to Trumps Salon and decided to try it out. I've been going ever since. That was 9 years ago. WINDY JONES is the esthetician at Trumps and when I say a person has found their calling well it would be her. She is attentive and knowledgable and has the touch of an angel. I have very dry skin and I always leave her room feeling dipped in moisture. It was relaxing and felt wonderful. I also get microderm done w/ her and after a few sessions its like I have new skin. So I would definitely recommend Windy to anyone who wants to be pampered the way women were meant to be. more

When I saw a hairstyle I liked on someone passing by one day I asked them where it had been cut. I was referred to Teresa. My hair is thick, coarse, and super straight. She has cut it short and styled it long. She did a wonderful job EVERY TIME I went. I went to Windy once to have my eyebrows done & a facial. When I arrived late (I got lost) she seemed upset. She still saw me though. My eyebrows are difficult to do. She did well on one side. The other side & the facial were only okay. more

I love Trumps! Every time I go in there I have a wonderful time. I am greeted by Denise and Kelsie who are so sweet. Then you have the stylist who are all great I go to Katie. She is young and very great at what she does I can just go in and she works her magic. The ladies in the back are so fun to just sit and listen to and talk and Gwen gives the best shampoo I have ever had. As for Wendy the esthetician she is Excellent!!! My skin always look fabulous when I leave. I would highly recommend you going there and checking out what one of the best salons in Nashville has to offer you. I love Trumps! I have been going there for a little over a year. I understand that not every day is perfect but everytime I have been in I am welcomed and treated great. I am very unhappy with the services I received last time I was at Trumps. They had a woman who was obviously not qualified to wax, who waxed half of my right eyebrow off. I would strongly reccomend that you do not let anyone but the esthetician do any waxing. It was very traumatic and has been a month and it is barely grown in. This is a warning since I believe they are still letting her wax other people! more

I'm not totally sure if I like Trumps yet. I've been twice for a haircut and that part was great. However, I don't like the atmosphere there because it seems as if I'm ignored in favor of the ""regulars."" The stylist is wonderful but I feel as though all I want to do is get my hair cut and leave as quickly as possible. Being welcomed when one comes into the salon would be nice but both times that I came to the salon, there is such mayhem at the front desk, I feel lost in the shuffle; and it's the same when I leave. How is the guy that does the hair weave extensions allowed to work there without a license from the state.I had a friend have her hair break off from the this once. Should'nt be allowed. I prefer to go to places that are licensed by law and have true professionals working on me. As for mentioning ex customers on this site by name as to weather they have wriiten negative reviews or not is also tacky and truley unprofessional. again trash wrapped up in a pretty package. people shoul'nt accuse others without proof . tacky and obviously written by the salon owners. I have been a client of Trumps Salon over a year now and absolutely love the place. Katie Bender is of course my all time favorite along with Amy. Gwen is the cure for all head massages and when you are stressed or having a bad day she hums while she works and you feel like a million bucks when you leave the salon. I have found everyone to be kind, professional and courteous in every way. They say hello, smile and I have yet to hear one bad word from anyone. If you read this and have not been to Trumps you should go and be prepared to be treated like a queen or king. To me I have found a great place with great people and I have watched a lot of people walk out the door that looked absolutely fabulous. If you are looking for someone to give you a great style ask for Katie she is great! Pros: You feel wonderful when you walk out. I have been a client for over five years and perfectly treated every visit! I am a customer for life and would only miss an appointment if I were dying!! Mark has cut and coloured me for years along with Gwen that has the sweetest voice and heart felt passion for her love of the beauty business. Gwen is an angel and just one minute with her you will agree. Mark is an amazing guy with a personality that will leave you with your face hurting from the smile you will have from the time you are in his chair until you leave. John is fabulous with extentions and talking shop; business that is, which is crucial to how every client is treated like a queen or king. We both have been in customer service industries for years and he is always thinking of how to improve the already perfect service! He is caring and always accomodating to make sure you have a wonderful experiance!! Windy!! She will make you melt with a facial, dermaB, or even a spray tan....really! Kindest and most honest heart felt woman I know. She is a keeper and will pamper and spoil you like no other!! When you arrive you will see the beautiful windows created by Mark and entering see the display of beautiful, some one of a kind items from LA, and abundance of gifts for yourself or specail person. Last, and not least on the A List is Natalia & Denise. They confirm and book your appointment and just about anything else that is offered at Trumps they will see that you are attended to. This beautiful enviroment and all the special people that are part of the Trumps family will make you feel your best. PS I have heard they are opening a new location not far from the current Green Hills location that will be even more FAB! I can not imagine!! I am originally from Los Angeles and have been to salons all over that area. I was fortunate enough to find Windy a couple of years ago when I relocated here to Nashville. It astounds me that someone could use a forum like this to be so hateful to probably one of the most talented beauty professionals I've ever come across. Forgive me for being so blunt but I really can't see taking advice about an ESTHETICIAN from someone who can't even spell the word. Windy provides her clients with not only the latest beauty techniques... i.e. Microderm Abrasion, Eyelash extensions and tinting as well as an array of Enzyme peels, but she also makes you feel so completely comfortable and relaxed... like your best friend is pampering you for an hour. She's professional, sweet and absolutely the best at what she does. So hopefully anyone looking for an ESTHETICIAN who will put your needs first and make you feel like queen for a day will disregard the next post and come see her at Trumps anyway. It's obvious that the ""right"" people truly appreciate her services. I will also be signing my name to this post so no one could possibly think that Windy would ever write her own review... Absurd!!
