I would recommend Shaman and Travel Lifestyles for anyone taking a trip, especially a honeymoon! We went to Punta Cana last week, and it was AMAZING!!! Once we got to our 5-star all-inclusive resort on the beach, the people there who were associated with Shaman's company were so wonderful and helpful. We had the BEST honeymoon we could've asked for. He took extra care to make sure that we could fly out of Austin and then back into Houston to fit our schedule. We had a few hiccups getting to and from Punta Cana due to the airline, and Shaman answered our calls and helped us at very unfortunate hours on two different Sundays. Not only did he make sure that we had guaranteed seats on the next available flights both ways, but he's now currently helping us battle the airlines to compensate our lost time. We are so incredibly grateful that we went through Shaman and Travel Lifestyles! He helped us create some incredible memories to start our life together!! more

I would def. recommend Shaman! He was so helpful in scheduling our honeymoon (4-29-12 thru 5-6-12). We went to Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora and it was AMAZING!!! Everything was so well organized, all of the shuttle planes, picking up at airports, transfers to hotels, picking up for excursions!!! Shaman recommended the Shark & Sting Ray Excursion in Bora Bora, and it was by far one of our favorite memories of our honeymoon! We are currently trying to schedule an anniversary trip back to Moorea and Bora Bora and I am having Shaman arrange this trip as well. Mr. Shaman, was of great help we had just gotten married and we wanted to book a honeymoon way around the world, Bora Bora to be exact this man made sure everything was planned out perfectly we had an awesome honeymoon!!! Shaman helped me to locate a resort in Riviera Maya and booked our Honeymoon for us. I don't travel for pleasure very often and didn't really know how to begin looking for a nice place to go. With one email asking for advice, I received extremely attentive service and communication from Shaman. I was going back and forth about where we wanted to go, and his patience with my indecisiveness was amazing! We have yet to go on the trip (it's in mid-March 2012), but wanted to give him a big thumbs up for service! more

I used Raman to help me plan my honeymoon. I am not sure how much value he added to my trip. We had issues with every step along the way - reservations were not in place at the various venues (meals, tours, etc), hotel was nothing close to what they described it to be. Very difficult to try and fix a honeymoon when you are already on the trip. I wouldn't use these guys again. I know they help others out, and they were highly reccommended to me, but I didn't have a favorable experience. more

I have been a pleasure/business traveler for many years. It was not until I meet Shaman at Travel Lifestyles that traveling became easier. He and his firm have handled my travel arrangements for years. I have tried the internet and bargain shopped but at the end of the day it is service that counts. I travel a lot, a whole lot, and I now use Rahman at Travel Lifestylel for all my and my company needs. I've tried everything at least once -booking directly with the airlines, booking throught the internet guys (expedia, priceline, etc), calling overseas hotels, calling the discounters in the paper, you name it. I might sometimes save a buck or two (no more than that) using the big discounters, but I find that when all is said and done, Rahman gets me the best deal and definitely better service than the other guys. Save yourself money and big headaches by using the real pro -Rahman. I do and it saves me a lot of hassle. Well, I'm off to Germany for business, wish me luck and you have a great trip, too. more

I cannot tell you how much my husband and I appreciate the guys at Travel Lifestyles. My husband has used them for years for his business travel, but for our honeymoon I booked with an outfit offering unbelievably low rates (BIG mistake). It was a disaster from airline mix-up to an over booked hotel with no room for us and we could not get the so called travel agent to answer the phone. At ten pm Houston time my husband called Rahman at Travel Lifestyle and he had everything straightened out within an hour and the rest of our trip went smoothly. We are now planning a new trip and it will be with Travel lifstyles all the way. Lesson learned. Thanks guys, you do a great job. more

Three months before the weeding, we found out (the hard way) that the travel agency that we were working with (Jimmy Tours) had no idea was going out of business as we working with them. They ""forgot"" to tell us that and also that they had no idea how to handle destination weddings. We had to start from zero three months before the big day. Thanks to Shaman and his passionate pursuit for customer satisfaction, we were able to celebrate a perfectly orchestrated travel schedule for 34 guests, and an amazing destination wedding with upgrade included! He even arranged travel for my family all the way from Ecuador!!! We were extremely satisfied with his service, and would recommend Travel Lifestyles to all our friends and family. My new wife and I used TLC to book our honeymoon to Jamaica; more specifically Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. Pros: Extremely Helpful Cons: None for me more

The agent, Shaman, I worked with for my Mexico wedding constantly, and I mean CoNstantly, pestered me on the phone about everything. I had nothing but complaints from my guests that tried to use him. One guest said he constantly pestered her about when she was going to pay - very unprofessional. Another guest tried to book a flight and Shaman rudely said that he couldn't help him, when our guest said, ""fine, I'll do it myself"", then shaman said that maybe there was something he could do for him. This guest told him his services were not needed. Yet another guest had a bad experience when storm delays caused him to arrive a day later in Mex, Shaman refused to reimburse him for the hotel night that he had not occupied. This guest said Shaman told him that ""where he comes from [India] people don't just give up."" ?!! At first Shaman had seemed nice and capable, but all in all it was RUDE, unprofessional, and I was embarrassed to have recommended them. Not to mention that they didn't really get you any *deals* as far as the price is concerned. It seems that the agency is just Shaman and his brother/manager Raman, so I wouldn't expect that you would get much better service from them. Go ELSEWHERE for your travel needs!! Shamin has the patience of a saint! He worked diligently with my daughter and new son-in-law in helping them choose the perfect resort for their destination wedding in May. He was wonderful to work with, very accessable, provide many valuable comments and suggestions. Most of our party made their reservations through him and all had positive comments. The resort and wedding were absolute perfection and we have wonderful and beautiful memories. Pros: Quick response to questions, lots of followup Cons: none at all more
