Pizza 5/1/2009

My family has been going to Tony's on and off for 20 years or so. I never can remember bad or even poor service. They treat you like family and always have time to talk. We were there a month ago and going back this weekend. We are meeting there as a family since we all live in different areas now. We will come from Murphy, Arlington, and Euless to meet. We love the pizza the most. I can not say enough of Tony's. Pros: Best Pizza and Service Cons: None more

Horrible delivery service!!! 5/10/2008

I'm from New York. It's very hard to find pizza down south that has that same NY taste, this pizzaria was the closest I found...too bad their HORRIBLE customer service got in the way. I was a VERY regular customer @ this pizzaria for the past year since I moved here. I over looked their poor customer service for a long time, until recently it became not worth it! I'm use to poor attitudes...we've go the worst in the country up North, but nothing compares to this pizzaria's rudness, lazy delivery service, and horrible phone edict! If they got their act together and started over with a new staff, it wouldn't be a bad pizzaria. Pros: The pizza's not too bad Cons: The service, makes it not worth the trip! more

Maybe I Should've Stuck with Pizza 9/3/2006

The menu was expansive, offering many pasta, pizza, and sub options. Prices for weekday lunch hours were $2 to $3 lower than prices for weekend lunch/all dinner hours, which struck me as odd as nothing on the menu indicated any difference in the amount/type of food you would receive with the price difference. Tried among the three of us were the Meatball Parmesiano Sub ($6), the Salami Sub ($6), and the Chicken Marsala ($11). Theres something about getting a sandwich whose filling doesnt actually fill up the sandwich that is disappointing. Other than that, the meatball sub was above average, decently seasoned meatballs with an above average marinara sauce on a lightly toasted baguette. The upsides to the salami sub were the bountiful fresh toppings and the side of marinara sauce that was a bit tangy. The downside? Similar complaint as the meatball sub: I only get 6 slices of salami? Service was just decent, our water glasses never needed refills as they were giant glasses to begin with. I cant remember the waiter checking in on us any time between bring us the food and the check. We had to wait a bit to get our check when we were done eating (a bit of an annoyance since we were trying to make it on time for the Rangers game). But since it is an extremely casual eatery, I can understand the just the basics service routine. Perhaps I shouldve stuck with pizza since thats what got this place on my map (but there were just so many options on the menu!) Tonys didnt impress in any way to warrant a revisit unless I was in Arlington for a weekday lunch (in which case each item we ordered wouldve been anywhere from $2 to $4 less). I will probably get pizza if that happens. more
