This is the worst management team I have ever encountered in the 10 years I've been a homeowner. They are unprofessional and have no sense of humanity at all. They told me to rem...

I have been working with Timmons Properties for over eight years and could not be happier with their service. Jim Trout and Andy Gass have been the most dependable people in that office. I call and they respond immediately. They appear to be available 24/7. Every time something comes up that requires an expence, they are able to save the HOA hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars. I would strongly reccomend this company for your properties. more

Absolutely, THE BEST management company when it comes to accounting and providing closing services to our title company. Simply stated, THE BEST. more

Timmons Management Co. has been our management company for over 10 years. We are a boutique community of a few residents who set the bar high and keep it there. Timmons team understands and never disappoints. Their accounting methods are superb thanks to our account manager Sandra Hall and the response time from our property manager Lore Scalf is exceptional including evenings and weekends. Their knowledge regarding insurance, legal issues, codes requirements and by law interpretation has been reassuring on many occasions. We are grateful to be in such good company. I must say that I take great offense with some of the reviews written about Timmons Property. Our HOA has had Timmons as our management company for many years and are very pleased with them. I have been a member of the HOA board for numerous years and have found that in order for any management company to do their job properly – there needs to be good communication between the homeowners, the HOA board and the management company.\r \r The review regarding not taking care of her shrubs and getting the gate fixed – I would suggest this person review the bylaws as more times than not – these items are the direct responsibility of the homeowner – NOT Timmons or the HOA. Unfortunately, there are many folks out there that still have the “apartment dweller” mentality and think everything to do with their home is someone else’s responsibility.\r \r Also – a solution to complaints about your neighbor is also NOT the responsibility of Timmons or the HOA. These folks are not baby sitters responsible for disciplining unruly children – even though sometimes it must seem that way – you – the homeowner must take care of this yourself.\r \r It’s similar to if someone breaks into your home or your neighbor is blaring loud music in the middle of the night - it is YOUR responsibility to call the police – NOT Timmons.\r \r And to the person that sang the praises of Ghertner – please – they were the management company for our property and at one point in time put in a report regarding termite damage stating that they replaced my kitchen floor. Now – if a gutter was replaced or a roof shingle – I may not have noticed – but my kitchen floor? That was a blatant untruth and if I owned a home in an area they managed – I would certainly be leery of the work they say they do – how they spend the association fees, et cetera. \r \r It seems to me that some of these remarks about Timmons Property are so off course as to what we’ve experienced that it seems like maybe a competing company is making things up to try to sway business away from Timmons and to their company and that my friends is what I consider dirty pool.\r \r At any rate – I thank Timmons as a whole - especially Jim Trotter, Amy Eidem and Leslie for taking such very good care of us - we most certainly appreciate them!!!!!\r more

My Condo HOA has worked with Timmons for about 7 years now. They have been very helpful, and they always ensure the bills are paid, and that we get the best rates on any maintenance or repairs of common grounds and buildings. Timmons works hard to keep everything up and running for us. Timmons was also wonderful help during the May, 2010 Flood. They walked right with us through it all. \r \r For anyone unpleased, I suggest joining your HOA Board of Directors. It is an eye opening experience, and allows for a great opportunity to serve your community. more

We had an issue recently in our community and we were concerned that it would cost thousands of dollars. Thank you Timmons Properties for looking out for our community. With the assistance of our manager and the bookkeeping department, we actually saved money. You are the best! more

Our HOA Board has been working with Timmons Properties for more than 20 years. Our property manager, Amy Eidem, is always responsive and works well with the Board to help us maintain and manage our property. We are very satisfied with their service and support. more

I have to agree with the negative reviews of Timmons. This is my first dealing with them and it's been unpleasant so far. We have a leak in our roof and I can't get them to call me back or answer my e-mails. We finally had to take the situation in our own hands and call a roofer. I'm not sure what I have to do to get them to call me back - wonder if a fire will get their attention. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! more

I pay $134 a month for association fees. Not one thing has ever been done by Timmons. My shrubs died. I replaced them. My gate broke, my dad repaired it. After many calls to Timmons, nothing was covered. My roof leaks......what's the point in calling, they either won't show up, or say it's not covered.......but break one association rule and expect the Police Dept. to tell you that your Lavender Blooming Plants are touching the sidewalk. I don't know whom to blame, Timmons or Lenox Place,, but what I do know is that my more

We work very closely with Timmons and our manager, Amy Eidem, is the best! Our residents receive her attention and she delegates requests to the proper channels. If anyone is unhappy, maybe it's the relationship of your HOA to Timmons that is the problem. Remember, your management company follows the orders of your HOA. more

I bought a house where this business is the HOA management. I had a complaint with one of my neighbors going on for months now. If you address a problem/complaint to this management, they just ignore you by not answering emails/requests/calls or not doing something about the complaint. Worst business/management ever. more

Attention Builders and Developers !! Do your homework before entering into any contract with Timmons. They may be slightly less expensive than the Ghertner's of the world, but you get what you pay for. Property Managers that cannot read contracts, do not understand risk mitigation, and make huge mistakes in representing HOAs. Be very careful in your dealings with their novice staff. Shop around ~!!! more

The worst property management company in Nashville 4/5/2012

agree with you all - this management company is a joke - more

This management company is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/17/2011

I regret so much buying my house under this property management. I guess that rules only apply to certain people ore to be a certain race. Supposedly if you put a shed house it needs to match the siding color of your house and the shingles as well. I have counted atleast 5 homes that have shed houses with no fence or the right color or shingles. We are selling the house because this place is like a dictatorship and if you are doing anything it seems like people are with binoculars watching you and the HOA NUMBER on speed dial to report. more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! 8/25/2011

Again, heading says it all... Timmons could CARE LESS about managing, but they certainly are interested in taking lots your hard earned cash!!!! Please do NOT rent or buy where Timmons is managing. more

Don't live under Timmons Properity Managerment 3/16/2010

You will be sorry if you buy a condo, house, or apartment under Timmons properity Management. The Properity manager does not return e-mails. She does not care what repairs are needed if the the board members choose to vote down something that needs fixing, it won't be fixed. If board members don't like you, they won't vote for you if you need a repair. If people don't follow the rules, don't worry, you will only get letters, nothing beyond letters and threats. The rules are not enfored! We are selling, and will never live under Timmons Properity Manegement again. Pros: No Pros Cons: They don't make repairs more

Would Never Recommend! 8/18/2009

This has to be one of the worst property management companies I have had the displeasure of knowing! Who knows where our HOA dues are going? To the multiple landscape companies we have gone through in just a few short years that still don't maintain all of the common areas. To the charge of trying to get a copy of the financials for the last year? To the property manager, who will remain nameless, that is impossible to get on the phone and won't return messages? To the numerous letters that get sent out threatening to fine every homeowner in our neighborhood? My guess would be all of the above. They are the biggest headache to deal with and I would never live, nor would I recommend living, in another community that is managed by Timmons Properties! Cons: Too Many more

These guys received a license? 5/7/2008

They have cost our HOA literally thousands of dollars because of their ""not my job"" mentality. They won't return emails and still don't have our fee record straight. It is a waste for our state to require a business license when they will obviously give one to just about anybody. Pros: Roof over my head Cons: Timmons more
