This little tavern, the only one near the Richmond Beach waterfront, has survived Prohibition, the gentrification of RB, and efforts by locals to close it down. Begun during Prohibition to serve the ""resort trade"" as a cafe. When America returned to sanity, it bacame a tavern. The current owner/manager/bartender makes good soups, good sandwiches, and generous protions of each. Sadly, the former owner, who sold the property early in 2005, took his two delightful dogs with him. But the jukebox, the pool table and the ambience are still there.
