I went in on to have a dress altered for a wedding. The initial visit was great, very friendly and it seemed as though the lady doing the fitting would be the one altering the dress as well. When the dress was finished the alterations were ok. There were two black spots right on the front and the dress was all wrinkly. The lady who fit me (owner) immediately blamed me for the spot, was very confrontational and it turns out she farms the work out to someone else, which had I known, I never would have brought it there. The dress was supposed to be pressed given the amount that was spent, but it was not. All in all, I would not give this shop a second chance, as while I was waiting there was also another customer who had a less than pleasant experience. more

This shop is located in the downtown shopping area with convenient parking across the street. The staff member I dealt with was friendly enough and it didn't take very long to be measured and explain what I needed altered. It took almost two weeks for my 3 items to be altered and when I picked them up, I was disappointed in the quality of the work. I had had the waists taken in on 3 pair of pants and the work was very puckery looking and they didn't lay very nicely when I wore them. In the end, I got rid of all the pants because I didn't like the way they fit once they were altered. The next time I take something in to be altered, I will look for another place to go. more
