Best Ever Salon for Classy Picky Bitches 10/4/2010

I spared no expense, if you see my hair, it is all about my hair!!!!!! I needed a blowout every two or three days, and it worked until I had to do a national tradeshow in Seattle at the convention center on Pike Street. I was staying at the Sheraton. I needed something local and within walking distance. I already explored the Aveada school for a haircut earlier the week before, but I needed something convinient without a cab ride, close to the convention center and the hotel. I kept passing this salon called Sense, I was curious and desperate at the same time, so the day before my fab salon experience I stopped in and asked if they would take me, Robert- the owner said no I am sorry I do not have a stylist today, I thought to myself, WTF? A salon who doesn't have a stylist in that day, but I remember touring Pike's Place Market they had calendars of the Seattle Seahawks Seagals and I looked at the calendar and remembered a logo on there that also showed Sense as their salon. I said no it can't be the same salon who didn't have a stylist in that day, but knowing what I knew, I followed my gut and trusted my intuition, and I said fine, I will make an appointment for tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. that Wednesday in between my two classes that I was taking that day for CEU's and take a chance.........and you know what? more

Absolutely LOVE IT! 3/21/2010

About 3 years ago I moved to Seattle from San Francisco, and after a failing search for a good hair dresser I found Shandra, who has been the greatest hairdresser I could ever ask for! Unfortunately, I was laid off a little over a year ago and I moved about 45 minutes away. Being low on money and relatively far away I started looking for a local hairdresser, but after numerous bad experiences I caved and called the salon Shandra had been working at; to my shock she was no longer there! Hearing that and looking at my frumpy hair cut (which was only done 3 weeks prior and cost an arm and a leg- and I'm not one to complain about the cost of a GOOD hair cut, a bad one however, well...) I almost cried, but then the receptionist explained to me that she had bought her own salon! Incredibly excited I called and made an appointment! Shandra acquired the salon a couple weeks ago and has been busy making obvious improvements to the facility, which includes a major facelift (removing walls, changing the decor and making it her own little slice of heaven) and building a professional and stylish staff. I'm sure that when the place is done it will look amazing, and I will be a regular and very happy customer! When I went in to get my hair cut I was so down-trodden about my recent hair cutting experiences that I could only hope Shandra was as amazing as I remembered her being, and she is! My hair is AMAZING!!! I feel attractive again!!! I will NEVER see another hair stylist again! Pros: best hairdresser around! more

Worst ever! 3/10/2010

I would gladly pay $35 for a good pedicure- the place looked like it was being remodeled & i got someone to do my pedicure that normally does hair- go figure! Good massage with scrub, but the pedicure didn't look professional at all, very disappointed. Person even mentioned being flexible on prices & then it's $35 for a lousy job! Would never return. Pros: close by Cons: high price, lousy service more

Excellent job, my tan lasted for 2 weeks 3/15/2005

I would recommend this to my friends the location is in the cenral city of Seattle....suitable for me to tan in my work day. It made me feel good without harming my skin. The color was perfect and didn't look fake. I have a very pale skin color and I found going in the sun turns me red with damaging my skin :-) Airbrush tanning really is the only way for me to have this perfect bronze. I found the staff to be very friendly, while I was there I could get a pedicure or wax, haircut or lash extensions ( which last up to 2 months), permanent makeup also reflexology massage. The salon is very into the latest trends. Once again I cant say enough good things about salon LOTTE in the Convention Center downtown Seattle. I am wearing a tan and a smile; I'm a very happy customer. Pros: Cheap more
