Salon Jorj

I have visited salon jorj half a dozen times, and really feel that rima is a very highly trained stylist. She is very sharp, works quickly and still produces quality. The hair color here is great- stays vibrant for along time! Rima gives good haircuts and I don't feel like I spend all day here just to get my hair cut and colored .. she can get it done in less that two hours on a weekday after work! I have tried SO many salons in houston and this salon is a safe bet! I am thinking of switching to an organic salon though- as I consider what is in the haircolor I use every two months and will continue to. I would definitely recommend this salon! more

I just recently started going to Melaneh for facials, she is theeeee BEST in Houston! Within three months my skin is beyond amazing! She custom makes my make up and i am extremely satisfied. All of the Elina Skin care products have worked for me. i have tried everything from drug store brand to clinique and nothing seemed to work for my oily combination skin! After using Elina products and getting my facials, my skin has changed for the better! :) i absolutely recommend Melaneh! LOVE LOVE LOVE salon jorj! i look forwaard to going everytime. more

Had a wonderful one hour facial with Melineh. She uses fabulous organic products and does all kinds of extra wonderful stuff to your face. And extractions didn't hurt at all! It was very relaxing and I would love this experience every week. My face was glowing and my pimple was even gone the next day. I will definitely go back. more

Maria has been keeping me beautiful for 12 + years. She's the best stylist and colorist around. Even after moving from Houston, I still travel to have Maria do my hair - well worth the time and effort. more

I have been going to Salon Jorj for over a year now and I would never think of going anywhere different. Every month I get my hair cut by Medik and a facial from Melanie. I discovered this place about a year ago. I love going to Rima. She's always funny and upbeat! She does a wonderful job - my hair comes out looking fabulous - I joke I wish I could taker her home with me to make it look that good every day. She's patient, spends a lot of time listening and working with you to meet your needs. She never rushes and is just a hoot to talk to. I def. recommend her and the place as somewhere to go to if you are looking to change your look! Pros: a great experience more

I started going to Salon Jorj 2 years ago and now I won't go anywhere else. I have really long hair and it is hard to find someone who can layer long hair well and Reema does an amazing job every time. I have had her do my hair for weddings as well in she does a really good job. Her product advice is invaluable. In general, the ambiance is nice and the staff are friendly. I definitely recommend Salon Jorj if you are looking for a hair salon. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Cons: None that I can think of more

Maria is the best Colorist I've ever been to. Solon Jorj is not really near me. but it is well worth the extra time it takes. I have always been really happy with what Maria has done for me, both as a Stylist and Colorist. I have been getting facials by meleneh for several years and ever since myskin feels great and all my wrinkles are reduced! My skin feels very firm and rejuvinated. I just had my haircut today with Reema, and she was wonderful! I was greeted with a warm welcome and she did not rush into the haircut. We had a long consultation on what she suggests for my hair and what I wanted for the hair. I received advices before a cut was made which is a big plus because I do not like it when stylists want to go my way. I am a person that respects opinions and would prefer the stylist to tell me what they think which is exactly what Reema did! My hair smelled heavenly afterward, and the experience was absolutely relaxing! I didn't want to post this as a cons because it isn't a major problem since it is about the price. In my case, it is quite expensive since I currently don't have much income, but I honestly think it is worth it because the staff really cares about you. Okay, so I have to start this story from the beginning. Just before Halloween I used a temporary dye (from Walgreens) to dye my hair red. This dye was only supposed to last a month. Over 2 months later, my hair was stained red. At this point I realized that my hair was not going to return to its original color, and I would either have to let it grow out, or dye it again. I needed someone to fix my hair. I currently live in Austin, TX, as I am still in college. However, I did not trust any of my hair stylists in Austin to be able to fix my hair. The only person who I trusted was my hair stylist back in Houston, Maria. I waited until the Christmas holiday to get my hair colored and restyled. By the time that Christmas holidays rolled around, I decided that I wanted to try a short hair style (very different from what I had before). I was confident that Maria could transform my mid-back length hair into a style that fell just past my ears. Maria was able to fit my hair coloring, hair cut, and highlighting into her schedule all in one day. I absolutely love what she was able to do with my hair. She dyed it back to its original color (which was pretty difficult since she didn't have a reference). She cut 10 inches off, and created a wonderful style that I love. And the highlights she added to my hair perfected the look. Maria is the most talented hair stylist I've ever been to. You should definitely visit her as well! more

I known Melaneh for couple of years now and I love her facials. The products she uses on my skin are great and after every single facial I can see my skin glowing. Melaneh is a God send and her facials are awesome! Pros: Service and very relaxing Cons: none that I can think of more

I've been going to Salon Jorj for so long, I can't even remember how many years. The salon is gorgeous and very clean. The staff is very friendly, and they feel like family to me! I absolutely love Maria, my stylist. She's awesome with hair color and basically I let her do what she feels will look good on me and I'm never disappointed. The same for my haircuts. Best colorists in the city. I'm a native and have shopped around and I know this to be true, having colored my hair for as long as I can remember. Can work with all hair types. Excellent work with men's hair and beards, even gently and naturally coloring beards! Make up artists, aesthetician, etc., etc. Pros: multi talented personable staff Cons: can't think of any more

Stella is just the best hairstylist ever!!! She is always ready to make changes to your existing style and re-invent your look. You always walk out knowing you got the best cut and color to fit you and not the person next door. Personalized attention and never rushed.
