Last Friday,my first time getting a tattoo and on my birthday, Jason Hassel was excellence. Great work. Everybody was nice. I feel like I was at home. I will go back there soon.

I have been coming to Rock n Roll for about 6 years now for piercings and tattoos. All the artists and employees are great and i love each and every one of my tattoos. They are not overpriced and are really nice people. The person below is a hater and just trying to bash them for no reason. more

Worst tattoo shop located in Raleigh. Each and every artist currently in there is horrible. I've seen people walk out of there with work that looks like a child did it. They are extremely over priced. I needed two inches of lettering covered and was told it would cost $150. I would not recommend anyone going here. The owner is all about making money and not art. If you want good work. Go to Black Lotus Tattoo. more

My cousin has been visiting here from Germany for two and a half weeks, she had a rather large piece from her thigh to her shoulder. The tattoo she got in Germany was scarred and just not well put together. Nadir Tariq took it by the horns and rocked it out. The color, the detail, and the lines were better than she every thought could come out of what had already been done! He was extremely nice, and when she needed a break he allowed her to, and was just mainly focused on her comfort. He really did an amazing job, on top of that she got her first tattoo at Rock & Roll over three years ago, and Nadir recognized her and was the one who did her first one as well! I've been to a couple different tattoo shops in the area and Rock & Roll is by far my favorite. Other than Nadir, everyone was so nice! I highly reccommend! more

I went in today to get two new tattoos and a color retouch up on another one. Jason Hassel did amazing work,I am very impressed with his work that I plan on being back there soon to get another one. I just moved here from New York and I can say that Jason does better work than some of the guys in New York. He is very professional very likeable his personality is great and he was able to do exactly what I wanted him to do and I am impressed with the color retouching he did on my tattoo that I just had done 5 years ago, he made the tattoo pop as my son said today. My tattoo I had done of a ribbon for surviving thyroid cancer and lymphoma is awesome the coloring is just great and then the rosary beads I had done on my foot are beautiful the shading and everything... just beautiful.. I will definitely be there for more...... more

I would definately go back to Jason Hassel the artist that completed my memorial to my parents for me today. I went in with such different ideas on what I wanted and after explaining it to him. Of course he as the artist gave me a different veiw, which was 100% on the spot! I cannot believe how he knew exactly what I wanted even when I did not know! His artwork is exceptional and he was very professional. I have several other tats, and if I have a reason for another he will be the one I go to! He is great. The place was brightly lite, all the employees were nice and professional. The shop was extremely clean. If you are getting your 1st or 10th Rock N Roll Tattoo & Piercing is the place to go!!! Thanks Jason, you completed a very important piece of artwork for me and perfectly done!! more

Just got some work done by J. Hassel and I'm impressed. The man was professional and his work is outstanding. I've had plenty of other work done in other parts of the country and Hassel and his skills are amongst the best. If you're thinking about getting work done and you don't want to get some crappy bunk, talk to him. more

I went to Rock n Roll Tattoo this past weekend to get my first tattoo and let me just say they did an amazing job! I had Jason Hassel do my tattoo and it looks amazing! The environment was comfortable and they really take into consideration what you want and do their best to fulfill your requests. If anyone ever wants a good experience with their first tattoo this is the place to go! more

Wicked good 5/23/2012

Got a dermal piercing here yesterday and it really was the best possible experience. I was wicked nervous but everyone was so cool about my gajillion questions. The environment is really chill. During the piercing Fred made me really calm and knows what he's doing for sure. No issues at all and the whole thingg hurt less than getting my ears pierced. I have a couple tattoos and another body piercing and this is the best place I've been to hands down. I'm going back 100% and telling everyone to go there too. more

For a first timer getting a tattoo I'll say that that was one of the best experiences ever. \r \r My tattoo was done by Jason Hassel and he was great, he made me feel as if I was at home. Great conversation and great work was done. I will be returning for a second tattoo and he will be requested when I return. For anybody who wants a tattoo goto Rock & Roll in Raleigh they are pros and they do the best tats in raleigh. more

Awesome Experience 2/2/2012

I went into Rock & Roll a few days ago and was greated by everyone in there with respect and interest in helping me. I went back in tonight to get a tattoo done and Kyle helped me with the design and doing the tattoo. Kyle was very helpful with the design and working with me as I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Every other time I have got a tattoo I was content with it after I got it. But this tattoo I am absolutely exstatic about and couldn't be happier with the customer service or the tattoo. more

Great people, work and just all outplace 1/31/2012

I love this place!!! The people are very nice and welcoming. Everyone here does great work also. I got my tat from Jason and he did a great job and talked to me the whole time to help me not think about the pain.My boyfriend got a tat from Kyle and he also did a great job and was very helpful on what would look good!! I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for some new ink!!! more

this is Bynum Bass, the piercer at Rock n roll. first off, i am truly sorry you got an infection. however i can absolutely say that the infection itself did NOT come from my piercing, this is why. when you called us on sunday to ask to come in, you stated that your GUMS hurt and were a little soar, you did not say anything about puss or extreme pain. you went to eternal Ink in wake forest and saw reberta, i am very good friends with her, so i called her, she also told me when you saw her, you did not have ANYTHING wrong with the piercing, BUT you had a infection in your gums! NOT YOUR tongue. and the medication you are on is for a FUNGAL INFECTION IN YOUR GUMS! your tongue piercing was completely fine. a fungal infection is caused by dirty things in your mouth. not from a piercing. more

Went to Rock & Roll, hearing some really good things about them well that want true at all. I went saturday night to get my tounge done well it was 2 days latter I called them to let them no I needed to come in and them look at it well I got told there was going to be nothing they could do before 3-5 days well I called another tattoo shop and went to them so they could look at it for me well I been at the ER tonight with a bad infection in my gums and my tounge so now I am on 2 diffreant meds for this I would not recommend Rock & Roll to anyone.... more

Nice shop, even nicer people 8/10/2011

I took my daughter to Rock'n'Roll Tattoo today to get her ears pierced - Kyle was fantastic to work with! He has the patience of a saint, and knew exactly how to put her at ease. And when she insisted (okay, she dared me...) that I get something done too, he pierced my tongue. Quick, easy, painless, and we had such a good time talking to him. Can't wait to go back and get inked! more

Comfortable, clean and satisfying. 7/30/2011

I got my first tattoo at Rock & Roll Tattoo, hearing many great things about it. When I stepped inside, everything looked real nice and everyone in there made you feel comfortable. No one was judgmental. Everyone in there felt like family. They were honest, giving helpful advice and they were real patient. Kyle did real well on my first tattoo that I came back two days later for a second. I highly recommend Rock & Roll =) more

not so happy 4/21/2011

so ive been wanted to get a tattoo for a very long time and for being my first tattoo n for being clueness im not happy at all w the tattoo n i guess thats my fault but at the same time isnt the artist job to help u n give u some feed back?? i just got it done like 3days ago i went to the shop as a walkin the guy was very rude and with a pissed off face but i still smiled and was nice. i went with a pic n i explained wat i wanted but i guess i was to anxious n to nervous that i just went along with wat he said. he took the pic took like an hr to draw it and when he showed me wat he drew it came out ok but i thought it was to small n he charged me 120 n he said if i wanted it larger it would of been more. well he placed the tattoo on my hip n like i said i did like it but i dunno i guess bc i wanted it so bad i just didnt compare my pic with wat he drew. he told me to lay down n he started. it hurt like a b*tch and after he was done i dunno i just didnt feel like he took his time w it. my bf wasnt around to give me his opion about the price and the picture he showed up when he was done when he saw it n saw how much they charged me he was pissed. now that i look at it i see that the lines are even straight its all messed up the part where its suppose to be colors they arent even all filled and to make it worse when i got home and saw the pic that i gave him which was in my computer it wasnt the same to wat he drew. =( i was so disapointed and now thats all done i realize wat i did wrong but at the same time it sucks bc as artitst they are suppose to enjoy wat they do and not rush it. when he was done w it i didnt say anyhting i dont know why i kept my mouth shut i guess cuz thats how i am lol not tryin to say this shop is bad but i guess to make ppl realize that u have to really becareful wat tatto shop u go to but al that matter. now i have to go to another shop and pay double so they can fix what he did =( but its all good more
