A few years ago, I had 2 of my kids attend Raleigh Moravian Preschool. I'm concerned by what I have seen and experienced. My oldest was in the 4's class and he had a wonderful teacher. My youngest was in the Older 2's class and I have to say, I didn't really see or feel he was getting what was needed. The teacher was also the director and she was rarely in the classroom, which didn't give the kids much structure. My oldest excelled where my youngest did not. I feel that since the teacher was the director, she only put about 25%-50% of herself in the classroom and without teaching them what they needed, she was hard to communicate with for I felt she was hiding something, she felt cold. I feel she shouldn't be a teacher, she is lacking heart in the teaching area. The 4's teacher was amazing and was putting in 150% and gave my child a loving and caring environment, always changing things up and really inspiring them. I later learned none of the leads returned one year. I felt I made a good decision about not going back to Raleigh Moravian Preschool. Especially when they can't keep great teachers.
