TERRIBLE. We ordered food from here a couple times and it hasn't been terrible. Tonight it was not edible and we contacted them to rectify the situation. They refused to accommodate us and claimed their food is "fresh". BEWARE. DO NOT ORDER. more

Order came quickly, but the food is a little on the bland side, nothing was really wonderful. more

Delicious pizza. Fluffy, warm, just enough gooey, melty cheese and savory toppings... I'm about to order again right now! more

Best small italian resturant in LA 3/16/2011

I have been going to Raffallo's for about 30 years or so and have always gone there when I'm in Los Angeles. The Pizza and also the Lasanga is absolutely the very best. I have recommended this place to many people even the valet and staff at the Beverly Hills Hotel. I went again in March 2011 and was just as pleased as the first time I went back about 30 years ago. The owners are very nice and are so happy to have you as their guests in their resturant. They even treated us to a free beverage. I would say when youre in LA you should go and have pizza there. I wish they would open a place in Portland Or, I'd be there all the time. Thanks Raffallo's for such a wonderful place to have a fantastic meal your food, service, and hospitality make your place a huge success keep up the good work and I'll see you next time I'm in LA. more

Bad Delivery Bad Cuisine 8/19/2010

I ordered a pizza and a salad for delivery from Raffallos on Sunset. When I called and placed the order I had to repeat my address at least 4 times and my phone number about the same because the lady can't hardly speak any English. An hour later I called back because my food wasn't delivered yet. She told me she didn't write my address down right, which I had to repeat another 3 times. Half and hour later my food finally arrived. The 3 dollar salad was a total joke and I could have gotten a better one at McDonalds. And my 20 dollar pizza was soggy and the crust was hard as a rock. I would recommend If your in the Area to Try Bossa Nova Pizza which has much better ingredients at better prices and reliable delivery. I'll take my own advise next time. more

they closed the door in my face 11/9/2009

wow, went here tonight to request a take out menu & was virtually shoved out the door because i was holding a small chihuahua. there were no take out menus outside so i had to open the door to ask for one. after she gave me a menu she actually CLOSED THE DOOR IN MY FACE. when i called back to ask the woman who answered if she was the one who gave me the menu she HUNG UP ON ME. is this anyways to run a business? they made it clear they did NOT want mine and mine they definitely won't get. shame on them for the way they treated a new customer. :( Cons: rudeness more

Editorial review from GrubHub 1/6/2008

PROBABLY THE WORST MEAL I HAVE ORDERED THROUGH GRUB HUB. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. EVERY SINGLE THINGS WAS SLOPPY. SPILLED AND TASTED HORRIBLE. SAD AS I USED TO LIKE THIS PLACE. more

Decent pizza, not bad at all 5/29/2007

Don't go in expecting mama from Roma. But this place does the job. The pizza is NOT horrible like the previous reviewer says. Its much better than Domino's or Papa Johns. The eggplant parmesan is okay too. And, it stays open when all others are closed. This place saved my Super Bowl party. And, who cares if the woman's accent isn't Italian! Get over it man, this is LA, not little Italy. I would get pizza from here again and also recommend anyone who is looking for a quick, affordable bite. Sure beats Burger King down the street. Pros: Fast service, comfortable restaurant, quiet Cons: Food is okay - not the best, not the worst more

Worst Pizza Place 11/11/2006

Took over 2 hours for a delivery that they told us would be 30 minutes. I told the ""woman"" that I wasn't going to pay for it. I assumed she heard this, but couldn't understand a word she was saying through her thick accent (not Italian). The pizza was awful. I can't believe it was actually worse than Domino's -- and I can even tollerate Domino's when I'm starving. After we tried gagging through our meal, the ""woman"" called us to yell at us for not paying. She tried her best to scream, insult and threaten us. But unfortunately for her, I didn't speak horrible english. So, if you want sucky food and need it cold and stale, call Raffallo's. more

Wow....Salty 1/5/2006

Pizza is, at once, gooey and salty and doughy. Actually too much cheese...not enough sauce. Cons: bad food more

Empty Promises 1/4/2006

We ordered pasta and a sandwich for delivery at approx 6:30 pm on Sunday night. We didn't receive our food until 4 hours later!! The woman on the phone, after numerous phone calls inquiring where our food was, laughed at us and kept telling us it was on the way. Finally, we asked if it was going to be cold when it arrived. She said they will remake it for us and it will be another 20 minutes! This was already 3 hours late! We asked if we would get a discount and she said she would give us a $3 discount. $3!! After 4 hours, it FINALLY arrived! COLD AND STALE! We were so outraged that we called back and complained demanding our money back. All she could respond with was ""No, I guess we lost one customer,"" and hung up! Unbelieveable! Worst service EVER!!!!!!! Cons: Worst Service!, Worst Service!, Worst Service! more

Mmmmm, garlic good 5/22/2002

Big fan of the olive, fresh tomato, and fresh chopped garlic pizza. Best when piping hot, of course--that, however, requires eating in. The dining room is pleasant and has a lowkey, Italian-joint atmosphere. They don't however, offer free refills of soda, which I find tacky. Most often, we have this pizza delivered. Once I asked them to add fresh basil to my pizza and was very disappointed to find a only few somewhat charred leaves strewn over the top. Skip the basil topping. Pros: Delivery Cons: Basil topping more
