Worth the drive to Eagle Rock!! If these 130+ reviews don't convince you to go here, Jonathan Gold's LA Weekly article will. The famous critic can't say enough about Casa Bianca's pizza pie. It really is that darn good! The crust on the thin side, the marinara on the spicy side, and the cheese covering almost all the way to the edges and baked to perfection. You don't need to say "extra crispy". The pizza does not flip or flop around, it's cut into wonderful little slices that are easily, but not mindlessly, devoured. When my boyfriend and I took a recommendation and ventured to this suburban spot we had high hopes, but were extremely impressed and our expectations were exceeded. Friendly staff, comfortable dining area, homey decor. I like plain cheese pizza and my boyfriend likes pepperoni, so we get 1/2 and 1/2, both are great. Casa Bianca isn't typical big ol' slices, but the flavor bursts and confirms the decision to branch out and give somewhere besides Village a try for some pie. OH and they're open late! So rare in l.a. and so convenient.
Pros: everything-pizza, staff, price, decor, parking

As long as you phone ahead and speak to someone, you will get a reservation and believe me, there is no wait once you have one. You arrive, you sit, and like me you'd enjoy a glass of Prosecco and begin tasting what Mozza has to offer on the menu! My fav dish is the Burratta Caprese and the Pizza with Prosciutto! Try it.. you will LOVE everything! OH.. Don’t forget the Chop Salad!
Pros: So much to enjoy!

Bossa Nova is around the corner from my house, and so I've eaten there or gotten takeout a number of times. I almost always end up getting something from the Brazilian grill or sandwich sections of the menu. (The latter is more popular with me when I'm ordering take-out.) My wife seems to always get the pasta. We've never been disappointed with our food, not even when we order take-out. I'm sure it helps that we order take-out, not delivery, and pick it up right when we were told it would be ready by.
The downside is that it can feel a little loud & bustling, but that's not a big deal because it's not like we've ever had to wait for table. Then again, I don't remember us ever eating there on a Friday or Saturday night. In fact, the food seems to go hand-in-hand with the atmosphere with its bold flavors and festive feel: I kind of feel like I'm eating my favorite backyard barbeque cooked by my Brazilian uncle (who doesn't actually exist).
In the bottom line, I think there's a very good match between the food you're served and the price you pay. It's nice to find a tasty spot in Hollywood that's not about the hype.
Pros: Flavorful meats, tasty sandwiches
Cons: Noisy and bustling

This by far has been the best place, not just the best italian food but the service was so good. I would recommend this to everyone. And the owner Tony is so nice, this was our first time going and we were leaving he told us to sit back down and when we went back the waitress came we dessert and said "Tony said 'you must have dessert and it's on the house.'" We will definately go back with out a doubt. And the prices are worth for what the BIG portions they give

Right away you're greeted with a smile from everyone. We were worried we didn't have a reservation, on a Friday night, what were we thinking...They let us know that we could wait for a table inside or sit outside right away. We were anxious to be seated and we were. This place is so cute. We ordered the divina salad and grilled calamari...PERFECT. I had the veal and my friend had the gnocchis. She's Italian, so no place in LA gets it according to her...they did it right. At the last minute I sneaked away and told the hostess it was my friend's bday. All the servers and (owners) came out to sing. We had a the best time. My Italian friend finally approved. She said it felt like just like home! Thank you everyone at Michelangelo!
Pros: FOOD! Romantic and friendly service
Cons: They aren't open 24 HOURS!

First of all, this is an Osteria - it's not the Rex and it isn't Melisse. Second, the food is consistently marvelous. In my years of going to Angelini's, only once have had a meal that was not excellent. For example, my last meal started with a so-so sushi appetizer (how excited can one get about raw fish?), then launched into a series of delicious courses: foie gras with fava beans and spatzle; squid ink gnocchi with lobster and cherry tomatoes, filet mignon with a parmesean cream sauce and kale; sepia with a little frisee and porcini; pizza with gorgonzola dolce and porcini.
Anyone can have a bad experience anywhere. Call ahead - tell them you want the chef to choose some number of courses to try and let them cook. Tell them directly if you are not crazy about something; my guess, you will have at least two courses that will be best in class.
Pros: Consistently as good as food gets
Cons: Location and environment

Went to bella for dinner before going out to a club and had a great time. Perfect spot to grab a drink and some good inexpensive food.

Beautiful place. We ate on the patio. It is romatically lit and comfortable. The food is extrordinary! I had the lobster tortelini and it was so delicious and tasty I ordered an additional one to go. Exceptional service, from host to waiter to bus boy. Very well priced, our whole meal was $70. I highly recommend and will be back soon.
Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance
Cons: Valet is a bit pricey considering your car is 10 feet from the back door
