I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but I love these guys. The owner GJ is super helpful and always goes the extra mile for me and all my clients cars. I have a friend who says the same! more

Horrible. Well, my experience was with the Aurora and 84th shop, but from the other reviews of this Capitol Hill location, it doesn't seem that Precision Tune holds very high standards for their shops. They promise you with a smile...and deliver shoddy, two-bit work. They promised me a certain amount in a certain time, and didn't deliver on either. I was trapped because my car was up on the rack, and I really needed to go. I asked for my car back, and he kept saying, it will be done in a minute..instead of giving me my car!! So I had to pay him, even though he had cheated me left and right. I left furious. I will never go back. more

I took my 2000 Hyundai in to this shop due to loss of power. They took the car straight away and gave me a quote for $4000 due to the catalytic converter being broken. They said it was this expensive both due to the part being pricey and also due to it taking a day and half of labor to fit. This effectively wrote off my car. I took it to my Hyundai dealer for a second opinion. They confirmed the catalytic converter was shot and that this was a very expensive part. However they let me know the total labor involved in fixing would be about an hour and gave me a total quote for $2500 including tax. It may just be that Hyundai have the right tools to do this job efficiently. However I thought Precision could have been better about telling me that they did not have the right tools or expertise rather than give me a super expensive quote. Then when I took the car back from them they charged $100 for the work they did to assess the issue. Seems wrong to have to pay them $100 to give me a bad quote. I would stick to simple, simple tune-ups at this place and take more complicated stuff else where. Pros: Fast Cons: poor prices for complicated work more

It was a hot day this summer and my car was overheating, They repaired my vehicle and did not over charge me. And they only repaired what was a problem. But they did do a real look over for me and advised me of other potential mishaps. I am very impressed with their ability to perform maintenence on my vehicle's and will tell others. more
