Trendy with some surprise finds 7/29/2009

I had a great time at Posh. While most of what I fell in love with was out of my price range, I did get a fab pair of $14 sunglasses and a too cute $20 headband. I'm saving up for a terrific pair of shoes I found there. If you aren't into fashion or trends, then you probably won't enjoy this boutique. I enjoyed the guys working the floor, they were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning. Pros: great selection and friendly staff Cons: boutique prices more

posh is a joke 4/1/2009

I had the worst experience at posh. i bought at item from them that when i got home realized was defective. I had an award show to go to in new york they next day so i rushed to the store to get something that wasnt messed up.They refused to help me out when i all i wanted was the same thing but not damaged!! The manager was a total idiot and told me that this just happens a lot at the store.....""people trying to return clothes that they have worn!"". I never wore the item it was just pathetic that they could not help me out and on top of that insinuated that i was a liar. I did not want a refund just something that didnt have a tear in it and i was planning on buying more that day so.... they actually lost. I will never shop at posh again and my friends wont either. Oh well the only good thing is they are right next to H Audrey, and i went there and they helped me find the perfect outfit for my event! more

Great Clothes, Great Service 2/8/2009

I really like this place. I don't normally write reviews, but I wrote one earlier and now I'm on a roll. Alli tells all!!! more

Outshines the Others 7/22/2008

I moved here from Chicago to attend Vandy. Since I've lived here, Posh has outshined all other boutiques in Nashville! There is not another store/boutique in town (that I've found) that carries the variety of clothing/shoes nor the eclectic designers that they do. And in terms of price, it is what it is. If you're at a boutique, the price point is going to be higher. Hello!!! It kills me how people complain about the price at an upscale boutique. And lastly, I've had excellent customer service overall. The staff changes a lot - but for the most part, they will go out of their way to help you. Pros: Eclectic designers, VARIETY, great jewelry, locations Cons: store hours more

Agree w poor customer service! Stay Away! 6/25/2008

True the clothes are cute but way overpriced for Nashville (esp. adding on the 9.26 tax). The labers are not justified in the price, and I'm much much rather shop at the actual Nordstrom. Pros: Good cutsie taste, close to vandy, great location Cons: poor (possibly offensive) customer service more

Proud to find this Boutique in Nashville 6/15/2008

Boutique shopping is a pleasure at this classy store that offers anything a girl/ or guy could dream of!! I found many labels which are exclusive, and wearable. As a fashion purveyor, this boutique is one of the most fabulous with its customer service, on target with their return policy (most boutiques have strict ones), and to top it off, they have great events. The Green Hills location even has a runway built into the store! Overall, my shopping experience left nothing to be desired. You should make a stop by Posh a priority when visiting Nashville- All cities deserve a store like this one! Pros: Awesome music, Selection, Customer Service Cons: Having to balance your checkbook afterwards!! more

Not a white glove experience 6/9/2008

During this ""slowing economy"" the only advantage one shop has over another is the effort they make toward exemplary client services. If the mission statement of the store is to target only a select group of people in Nashville then surely the owner is willing to invest in a nationally accredited training program for its employees. No one was treated with any deference when I was in the shop and as a result they are probably losing business, if the strict no return policy is any indication. Maybe this boutique is better suited to other parts of the country where shoppers have lower expectations regarding customer service. more

Customer Service is as bad as Boutique Bella's 4/16/2007

The poster who commented that Posh sales associates only help you if you look like you have money is right on. I dress well and have a good income, but usually wear very casual and comfy clothes when I shop. This attire is a license to be ignored at Posh. Another drawback to the story are the tiny dressing rooms, with curtains that do not close all of the way and insufficient hooks to hang up the garments you are trying on. I'll give the shop girls/guys in La Jolla, LA, NYC and Miami a pass on the 'tudes, but hey, this is Nashville. more

Expensive but cute. 3/22/2007

Very cute clothes if you're willing to put down some cash. I've never bought anything because I'm just too poor I suppose. I love looking at their stuff, you won't find the same stuff in most other stores. more

STAY FAR AWAY 2/6/2007

After shopping at the Clarksville store, with their friendly, helpful staff, it seems almost impossible that the two stores are affiliated, let alone the same company. This store has a much larger selection than they one in Clarksville, but the Nashville staff have me shopping elsewhere. I have been in there numerous times and no one has EVER greeted me, or asked me if I needed help. The only words that come out of the staff's mouthes are too EACH OTHER. They need to deflate their egos or someone needs to fire all of them A.S.A.P!!! STAY AWAY! Pros: great selection Cons: snobby staff more

Unique shopping! 1/7/2007

I was very excited to find this store, the clothing is unique and the staff Pros: selection more

HORRIBLE Customer Service 9/17/2006

I have shopped at this store a few times and have never received good customer service. They recently, however, have had a huge glitch in their telechek system and they deposited 6 month's worth of customer's checks all at once. Many customers had large overdraft fees, many were large checks that were over 6 months old. There was no apology, no phone calls made to the customers to advise them of the situation, no effort to make anything right. A call to the owner of the store made it very clear that she felt much worse for herself than for her customers. In addition, many customers who complained received quips from the owner and staff stating ""didn't you notice that the check didn't go through?"" To which many replied ""Didn't you notice that 6 MONTHS of checks weren't in your bank account?"" The fact that the staff and owner of this store made no attempt to warn their customers of the situation and/or at least try to make amends by giving those inconvenienced a small discount or gift card is absolutely untenable. Stay away -- Nashville has much better places to shop with the same style clothes-- and those people HAVE to be better business people than Posh's owner and staff! Pros: Cute clothes Cons: Terrible customer service, high prices, lots of attitude (the bad kind) more

User review by cheergo15 2/23/2005

The location is wonderful and the clothings is awesome but it is way overpriced! I can find the same stuff at a dept. store for way less. What I don't understand is why the carry brands like to the max? That's not even high end fashion it's the knock off of bcbg. The service is awesome, they have a fun staff with unique personalities. since Posh has added it is getting better. Pros: location, service Cons: expensive, low quality more

Fun Shoping Experience 7/17/2004

I reciently stopped in to try to find a couple pair of jeans. When I got to the jean rack I was very overwhelmed by all the options. A salesman approached me, and asked if I needed help. When I said yes, he asked me questions trying to figure out what exactly I was looking for. He gave me about 10 different pairs to try them on. By the time I was done, I was at the register with what may be my favorite pair of jeans. The salesman was kind, fun, and very helpful.I would recomend shopping here to any girl who needs help finding a perfect pair of jeans. more

Look Elsewhere 3/21/2004

I've never had a very good experience at this place. Yes, the salespeople are laughably rude (it reminds me of that line from Absolutely Fabulous: ""You just work in a shop, you know."") However, the real problem is that their clothes are ill-fitting and seem kind of shoddily made to me. The final straw was when I bought a necklace here and it broke before I ever wore it. Then, getting them to give me store credit for it almost took a federal order. I agree with previous posters - there are so many better places in Nashville to find clothes like these - and have better service as well. more

Can you say Nashville's Nordstrpm!?!?!?! 5/24/2003

I thought this place was Great!!! Yes, the prices were high, but they are the same prices you would find in New York, Atlanta, or London. The have great name brand clothes and variety. The lay out of the store was nice and it wasn't that big. I loved it!! Pros: brand names, lots of sizes, great location Cons: parking more

avoid this place at all cost! 12/23/2002

all the clothes are pricey, and the sizes are either too small or too large. people who work there are not friendly and give a really stuck-up attitude...just because they work in a ""posh"" boutique doesn't make them any better than us. i'm sure i make a whole lot more money than them...i don't need their stuck-up attitude!!! more

Great clothes, bad sizes! 11/21/2002

I love Posh's clothes, but I have a complaint about their sizes in pants...they start at a size 26! I don't understand why they don't start at a 24 or 25, especially in Buffalo, Deisel, and Seven jeans. Come on...some of us skinny people would like to get in on the designer jeans as well! Pros: customer service, value Cons: SIZES!!!, parking more

Nashville Has More to Offer! 11/20/2002

The selection is good and Posh carries lots of funky styles, but the customer service is very disappointing. Customer service will make or break any clothing store and it doesnt matter what selection you carry, customers will avoid a store that is more hassle that it worth. A couple of the women that work in the store have been helpful to me in the past, but some of the stores policies are just plain rude. This has caused me to avoid the store and look elsewhere. I have found the exact same clothes at much cheaper prices at Off Fifth at Opry Mills or 100 Oaks, Boutique Bella, Anastasias Attic (in Murfreesboro), and you must check out the designer section of Dillards at Green Hills! Exact same clothes, cheaper prices, and wonderful customer service! Nashville has more to offer in clothing stores than just PoshLook around it is out there! Pros: Funky Styles, Good Location Cons: Bad Customer Service, Over Priced more

Is it worth it? 11/20/2002

Posh certainly provides eye candy - lots of clothes, shoes and accessories, including some brands you won't find elsewhere. That's good. Posh's prices are high, for Nashville. Their clerks tend to ignore you, unless you look like you are packing lots of cash. That's not good. So, if you have some cash and attitude to drop you may like Posh. If not, well ... more
