These folks have been repairing my stuff for years there is not much they cant repair. After the last hurricane they were open using a generator for power and worked well into the late evening to get my saw back to me. I called them once for my moms riding mower and they actully went and picked it up for me as I had no way to pick it up. The owner hired the older handicapped guy a few years ago because as he puts it at least the guy wants to work and not lay around and feel sorry for himself! more

I too had a problem with the old guy until I talked to hi for a while and realized he had a stoke when he was in his twenties and that affected his motor skills along with his emotions. He has to be in his late 60s so with a 40 or so year handicap I'm thinking I can deal with that as I am blessed with good health! The mechanic answers all my questions and has been repairing my equipment properly for years! I do not think the old guy is the owner I think he is just an employee of a company that is not affraid to hire the aged or handicapped! more

They fix lawnmowers- who cares if they are friendly? Actually he has always been nice to me and more importantly they have fixed everything well. Plus, they are one of the only acts in town. more

*** Do not use this company ***\r \r The counter clerk (old guy/owner?) is a skunk. Rude, aggressive and thinks he knows everything! I had a newer LB mower, I never had a problem with it. I took it in to have it serviced. They totally screwed it up, now the mower will not start. I am not going back. I do not want their incompetent hands on my machine, nor I will deal with such arrogance or ignorance again. It would be in your best interest to forget this dump of a business ever existed. STAY AWAY! BAD BUSINESS!!!\r \r *** update ***\r After darn near pulling my arm out of its socket pull starting the mower. I took my mower down to my neighbor who is a mechanic on 911 vehicles. He checked the spark plug, It wasn't changed. He checked the spark it was good though. He checked the suction that was fine. He check the air filter, it wasn't changed. It was old and clogged with dirt. What I paid for was maintenance and I didn't get it. So all and all I paid $ 50.00+ for an oil change on a lawn mower and the blade was sharpened only. This operation is trying to fleece you. They only worked on what is visible to the average Person. IE, oil and blade. I check these things when I received the mower. I forgot to mention I was quoted $35.00 over the phone for a general tune up. Shame on me. \r \r *** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY *** I can not express this enough. I took lawn equipment in for service. The person at the counter was very rude (older while male) and left a very DISTASTEFUL impression. I observed him with like-behavior towards other customers on the three occasions that I was in the store. If you are a paying customer, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
