We've been year less than half a year and have had the absolute worst experience with this company. Besides the numerous problems with the apartment that have either taken months to fix [broken windows, broken a/c] and some that still have yet to be, the people at the company are disrespectful, unprofessional, lazy and mean-spirited. Take this incident: I was awoken at 6:50am Saturday Morning by the loud knocking on our door of a representative of Parliament Enterprises. When I answered the door, the rep informed me that half my March rent was past due and handed me a written request for a check. I had been in contact with the landlord since before the end of February, let them know I needed to pay half up front and half at a later date, and had been in contact with them almost every week. I asked what the late charge would be, and if I needed to have the second half by a certain date, and they had informed me that it would just be added to my balance, but gave me no due date. I am infuriated that this company feels the need to harass me at 6:50 in the morning to remind me of something of which I'm well aware and have been in contact with them about. This behavior is completely unacceptable. While our super is nice and tries to be responsive, he is responsible for too many apartments, and often takes weeks to respond to an issue. Two of the four driers in our laundry room have been broken since we moved in. This company takes NO care of its tenants, treats them like inmates, and goes into a hissy fit if their tenants make the slightest misstep. I've never had to consult a Tenant's Advocay Group before renting from parliament, but now I'm on http://www.tenant.org/ like once a week.
AVOID RENTING FROM PARLIAMENT AT ALL COSTS
