Pandora at Macy's Galleria Dallas

The Dallas Galleria mall is made for shopping. Never has it been made for ice skating. If you want to go ice skating somewhere in Texas, go to the Dr. Pepper STARS rink close to Grapvine. The Galleria's ice rink is perfect for a date on ice, but not for familys. It is TINY!! In all the pictures it looks huge, but its actully it's pretty darn small. Yes, it can be fun to skate there after you have done all your shopping, but it's not really meant to be a place where you go to that mall just to ice skate. The worst part about it, is that everybody in the whole mall is watching you. I have busted really hard one time and you can hear the people's voices saying things like, "Ooooo. That must have hurt" and it's really embarrising. But besides all that the Dallas Galleria's ice rink isn't all that bad. Yes, it is made for the scenery and the prices are a little high, but it can always be a fun thing to go to. more

Until the recent renovations, I was not a fan of the galleria mall. However, they have not elevated the atmosphere of the mall to match the lovely selections of stores. They offer a wide variety of shopping options--from lower end "fun" stores to very high end. Shopping can be a hassle--especially during the holidays, but it is a worthwhile trip. The ice skating rink is quite charming and adds a fun element. Decent eating options as well. more

I love this ice skating rink, especially this time of year. They have the huge christmas tree up in the middle of the rink and it looks beautiful! The prices for skating are a bit high, but it's worth it because I enjoy myself every single time I go there. They also offer classes on skating. I recommend parents to take their kids to enjoy the experience. more

The Galleria is one of the best malls in the area. It is what you would call an upscale mall; it has high end stores such as Tiffany & Co., and Versace, as well as stores you would find at a regular mall so there is something for everyone. There is a huge ice rink located right in the mall which offers ice skating lessons. There are also many restaurants to choose from. This is a great mall. more

The Galleria is one of the best malls I have been to. This mall is several stories, so wear comfortable shoes when you go. There is a Nordstrom's, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Neiman's. You name it, they have it, Great restaurants for when you got hungry. A great nail spa is located inside the mall. Huge ice skating rink. It is so pretty to go there at Christmas time. The rink is decorated with a huge tree and a million lights. Also adjoining the mall, is a hotel if you are going to be in town and need a place to stay. more
