You wouldn't expect to find such great, inexpensive Italian food downtown. I have been here a number of times and am always happy with the service and the food. It isn't exceptional food, but it is very good for the price. The restaurant also has an open kitchen, which makes for some nice viewing pleasure. As of the past few years, they are open during the weekends (at least at night) as well. Definitely worth a try--especially for a downtown lunch.

I am also not a huge basketball fan, but the Dallas Mavericks game can be quite entertaining. Be sure to watch for the Maniacs (men dressed as cheerleaders who do over the top dances). Such fun! ...

There are also a number of bars and entertainment venues within the American Airlines arena if you need alternate entertainment.

You can use the 20% off a single item Allen Premium Outlet coupon. They also regularly have sales such as "Buy 1, get 1 50% off," although you can not use a coupon in conjunction with a sale (believe me--I've tried!)

This is a Banana Republic outlet store located in the Allen Premium outlets and one of my favorite places to shop. Its very hit or miss. .. I can just as easily walk out with nothing as I can walk out having spent $500 without trying very hard. I get a lot of my pants and other work basics here. I don't think that the quality (for the most part) is much worse than full-price Banana stores.
Also, you can use the 20% off a single item Allen Premium Outlet coupon. You can also use your Banana/Gap/Old Navy card to accumulate points.

Basically, the chef prepares a three course menu with wine pairings--at his whim. Its definitely an experience and you definitely need to be open to trying new things. You can give a few limitations for things that you won't or can't eat, but not many. What fun! Its great to go in a group. But it does get pricey. Before or after, grab a drink on their upstairs patio.

Before my wedding, when I couldn't get control of my skin, she fixed everything .. soothed it (and me). It was a wonderful experience. The facials are pricey and they are located way up in frisco, but its worth a trip from time to time.

I received a gift certificate for a massage at the Spa at the Crescent and looked forward to using it for ages. When I finally got around to it, I have to say I was quite disappointed. The intake process is very "cookie cutter" and doesn't make you feel special or taken care of at all. In fact, no one showed me around the locker room ... where the slippers and socks are, etc. It was not very relaxing to have no idea what was going on.
In addition, my massage therapist was unable to perform his job well, for reasons which I won't go into. I was very surprised that the Crescent would retain someone who cannot give an adequate massage. Had I paid for the massage, I would have been livid.
