Love Oggi's! Great Italian.

Worst

I guess the food is okay, but if you are not one of the boys, they won't treat you any too well. It is sort of entertaining just to see who hangs out there though.

What a gem! The single best linguini with clam sauce I have had since I left NY. Fabulous baked clams, grilled octopus appetizer, etc., etc. We've ordered 3x, and the food as always arrived piping hot. Order! more

Pros: Quick delivery, good pizza. The bread that comes with the pasta is AMAZING, so buttery and delicious Cons: We got the spaghetti and meatballs and seriously, there were only 2 meatballs and probably a pound of spaghetti. more

Everything was good until I re-heated one of my slices of pizza. As I was getting up toward the crust, I took a bite, and there was a crumpled baggy cooked into the cheese. It looked like a portion bag. Needless to say, not going to order again and take that chance. more

Oggi is a friendly and affordable Italian option in Chicago - with great pasta, pizza and meat dishes. My favorite pizza is the Margherita pizza, with generous slices of fresh tomatoes, basil, olive oil, Romano and Mozzarella. Simple but very good. Oggi's makes a great thing crust, crispy and not too greasy. They offer carry out and catering too. While I've never tried them for catering, I can vouch for their quick delivery service. Pasta at it's best 11/23/2009

Here on a visit and ate here twice. Had the clams in olive oil and garlic, fantastc! Also had the pizza and the veal marseles. Both very good. House wine is only $6.00 for the whole bottle. more

This place really nails the all-important quality to price ratio. Solid Italian food at reasonable prices. You get what you pay for and then some. Yes, there is better Italian food you can and should experience in this city. But if you don't have a ton of money, places like Oggi are must have, go-to quality Italian. more

Below average pizza 4/1/2007

I am new to the area and am trying out various pizza places. I am a big fan of pizza but won't order from here again. I ordered pizza for delivery, the sauce was watery, the mushrooms tasted canned and awful. The pizza had hardly any spinach. I ate 1 1/2 slices and pitched the rest. more

Great Local Italian Place 12/11/2006

This place is great. I go there all there all the time since it is right downstairs from me. That being said I have been to other Italian places but this is the best for the money. Try the eggplant sandwich. Pros: Great selection, good prices, everything is good. Cons: Parking can be difficult if you drive. more

Yummy pizza 9/28/2002

You have to try the Oggi Piccante, tender roast beef and giardiniera pizza. It is slightly spicy, but full of flavor, love it! I highly recommend the Linguine Con Calamari. It is fabulous, calamari in a red sauce served over linguine, simple but tasty. The salads are fabulous too. I prefer the carry-out option or delivery of course. This place does have a small dining space, but this food is best enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. Fabulous football party food, or late nights at the office - they deliver! Great prices for great food. Pros: inexpensive, great food, easy parking more
