Office isn't too great. The layout is strange. They have a huge dancefloor. You could probably even do ballet. The beer menu is alright, not...

O What A Night 11/17/2002

This saturday at the Office was off the hook. We went to two other clubs to startout the night, but were not really digging it. So we went to the office and the place was packed. Had to wait in line in the rain which kinda sucked but it was well worth it. Once past the velvet ropes their were fine girls all over the place and so many people. It took alittle while to get a drink but had a great time. I got to say the office blows away any other club in raleigh. Pros: Place to be/Crowded, Girls, Girls, Girls, Music selections Cons: Parking, Crowded more

Geeee. From the door to the bar, everyone looks like they get your life in their hands. Patrons aren't any better. Hey, I just go there to dance and have fun ! Remind me of the top clubs in Paris 10 years ago... except it's in... Paris. I was in one of the top club in Stockholm last month and had a real blast: great music, friendly people, expensive drinks (well, they do that for money, right ?). Three tries at The Office and there 's no way. Sorry guys. more

Not Bad ..for a wannabe NYC Club 11/12/2002

If you are a New Yorker like me...you got attitude, but if your a wannabe, you got too much and then "The Office" is your kinda place. I like the patio area...too bad nobody thought of opening it up fully on a real hot summer evening. Music was good...but I already have all the Ministry of Sound Imports...lets try old fashion mixing and original remixing fellas..make your own mark, don't be a wannabe...there is still time. Otherwise, not a bad effort. Pros: Beautiful women, Decent Music, Nice Chillout Areas Cons: Snobby Staff (relax), Repetitive Music, A Bit Expensive more

The Office has been around for a while now and is still the place to be. I went this Saturday and had a great time. Thursday and Friday are slower but they have great drink specials and women can drink for free on friday. Parking is one problem at the office. Overall I still like the Office and will be their next Saturday. Pros: Music, Ladies Cons: Parking more

best dance club around! 10/9/2002

This is one of the best dance clubs around. The music is usually great, the bartenders are fast, the drinks are good, and I like the people who go there. It's a bit smoky outside sometimes, but not too bad, especially considering you can always go inside where no one can smoke. Pros: great bartenders, good music, lots of room Cons: smoky outside more

O what a Night! 9/18/2002

I was so pleased with the atmosphere, customer service and music at The Office. The music selection was fantastic! I could bust a bit of techno inside and then head out to the patio to show off my almost forgotten 80's dance moves. The bartenders and bouncers are both respectful and fun. I will keep going back. One suggestion...How about Sopranos parties on Sundays? I'd be there!! more

Great place to blow off some steam in style. The atmosphere is hard to beat. Granted, it does get a bit crowded around midnight, but so does every good bar in downtown Raleigh. Pros: Best atmosphere Cons: Crowded more

Works every time! 8/16/2002

This is clearly the best club around. I just moved here form New Orleans, and before that Atlanta and New York. This place really hangs with the big boys. Raleigh isn't the biggest city around, but in The Office, you wouldn't know it. People who complain about this bar beeing too snobbish need to go somewhere else...that's the idea! I go every weekend. Sure, its a littel more expensive, but I still get through the night on $30-$40. The place doesn's get started until 11:30. Pros: Exclusive, Urban, Attractive Croud Cons: Closes at 2 more

Lotsa people here..NO NO, let me reword this. The doormen really think they are the coolest in town. 4 words, find a real job! Man, why do you have to act like you need more tip money when someon isn't a member? why? Like 5 bucks isn't enough. then you give one of those hand signals and look away like you need more money... real tuff!!!! Music is good, and there are some real good looking women. I just can't believe the girls go for these freaks!! Pros: , women, music Cons: service, "bouncers", "VIP" room..HAH! more

Great music, People Sucked 7/23/2002

The music at The Office was GREAT, however, if you don't fit into the cookie cutter mold of today's Hollywood, don't go. If you don't dress, act, talk, etc the same as all the other stuck up snobs here you will not fit in and they will make sure you know it. The place is beautiful and again the music was the best by far. The staff was even nice. But I won't go again. Pros: very clean, very hip Cons: people sucked, crowd snobbish more

I have read some of these reviews and it seems to me that people are way too hard on this place. We live in a city where there is not much to do. You will run into "big headed" people anywhere you go....even the Longbranch! For me, this place is a good time everytime I'm there. The music is good, drinks aren't watered down, and I always see a familiar face!! I hope this place is around for awhile! Pros: Music, People, Atmosphere Cons: Service, Bathroom location more

The best city club 6/25/2002

x123 Provided by Partner
The Office is a cool place. There's attitude and style, and all the attractive people that go along with it. I recommend it to anybody who considers their niche beyond college clubs and wants to be in a place with a big city scene. Although, you may see some of the same faces week to week, and you'll see young girls dance on stage as if they're at Banana Joe's. But hey, nothing wrong with that. Saturday is the night to be there. more

Raleigh is a town on the rise and this club is proof already. Unfortunately there is no competition for this club as of yet and it is the place to be for the want to be famous. To add, 5 years from now nobody will even remember the Office because several more of these clubs are being opened in the Raleigh area in the near future. Yes, this is a nice club, but remember it is only a dance club. If you want to get in, go early and go with friends, that way you do not have to worry about the fools around you, there's crazies at every club. I personaly liked the club. Pros: Nice clothes, Good atmosphere, Fun to go once Cons: BAD BAD Parking, prices, Not Europe more

AVOID THE NONSENSE 6/6/2002

tbone24 Provided by Partner
The people here think they are the bomb. If your in the mood to dress up and play pretend your in Hollywood this is the place to be. Its a pick/choose by the bouncers of who gets in and who doesnt. But what kills me is how the people that go there act. If you want a good time, dress up and head to the LONG BRANCH on a Saturday night. Its packed, people are friendly, drinks are reasonable and the dj is great. Avoid the nonsense Pros: NICE BUILDING, TWO DIFF DANCE FLOORS, CASUAL DRESS Cons: EXPENSIVE, STUCK UP PEOPLE, PICK/CHOOSE TO GET IN more

Chic!! 6/5/2002

mes1052 Provided by Partner
This club is the closest that Raleigh has to offer to a big city club. Although the attendance is low, the place is chic and stylish. I love the lavish and yet minimalist decor. Atmosphere is important to a night club and this place ranks among the top! We definately need more places like this in this town to attract young professionals and up-and-coming college students. Although I do firmly believe in the advantages of VIP access at nightclubs, these prices, from $100-$500, for a membership, are too high for the little advantages. The VIP area isn't even top-notch or restricted to VIP only (which it should be for the price.) But all in all that allows everyone to hang out on the same level, and the fact that there is a smoking room and a non-smoking area even adds to the benefits of hanging out here, especially for non-smokers!! Pros: non smoking rooms, great house music, Virtually no lines Cons: Overpriced VIP more

Comfortable & Exciting 5/24/2002

The office provides a unique, upscale atmosphere. You can dress up and arrive in a limo without being broke on Monday! The people are nice minus the attitude. Being from California, it's a nice place to have a good time with privacy when needed. The music is your choice with two sides, you can enjoy hip hop, rap, or the best trance & techno with Dj's flown in from Atlanta. Getting in is not a problem as long as the club is not already filled up with people who know to get there early. Also the advantage, rubbing elbows with the Hurricain Hocky Team. Pros: Crowd Cons: Parking more
