Northwood Hall

Both my husband and I have had our class reunions at Northwood for many years....This year August 12th....we were in charge of his reunion....It was great working with Shannon by telephone to pick our menu. When we arrived at the hall Friday a.m. to decorate...Susan & staff had everything set-up and the room looked beautiful...The attitude and friendliness made the day even better..The food was the best we've had in all the years we've been attending...The staff was very accommodating....keeping water and coffee filled at each table and always smiling. We had 148 attendees and everyone had a great time. more

When I got married, I looked at several places in town, and at first glance you might not think of this place. It is fairly plain, but it has a gazebo in the back and a large picture window which is perfect for a nighttime wedding. The best part about Northwood Hall is that it's fully catered and staffed. We paid one price and their staff took care of the set up of the chairs, the tables, the buffet, the serving of the drinks and the cleanup. It was so smooth that you didn't even know that they were there. The cook that we met with to discuss the menu was so accomodating that his willingness to help us made our wedding that much better. We were presented wtih a set menu but it included things that my dad and husband would not eat and when we asked for substitutions, not only did we get exactly what we wanted, but he lowered the price for us too. After the wedding, everyone told us how much fun it was and how great the food was and I know it was all in part to the wonderful staff at Northwood hall. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get married here. more
