The Bellweather is right on Bellingham Bay and the marina. You'll have a great view of the water, the boats, mountains and Western Washington University. This is one of only a few high end hotels in the area and is definitely the hotel of choice for discriminating visitors and business people. If you have the extra money, splurge on this hotel, they have amazing rooms. Also, look for the specials they have on their website like romantic weekends.

When I got married, I looked at several places in town, and at first glance you might not think of this place. It is fairly plain, but it has a gazebo in the back and a large picture window which is perfect for a nighttime wedding. The best part about Northwood Hall is that it's fully catered and staffed. We paid one price and their staff took care of the set up of the chairs, the tables, the buffet, the serving of the drinks and the cleanup. It was so smooth that you didn't even know that they were there. The cook that we met with to discuss the menu was so accomodating that his willingness to help us made our wedding that much better. We were presented wtih a set menu but it included things that my dad and husband would not eat and when we asked for substitutions, not only did we get exactly what we wanted, but he lowered the price for us too. After the wedding, everyone told us how much fun it was and how great the food was and I know it was all in part to the wonderful staff at Northwood hall. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get married here.

I travel alot with my job and to me a hotel is a hotel is a hotel. They are all pretty much the same and to me they are no maor than a place to sleep while I'm not at home.
The Quality Inn Baron Suites is a decent motel with nice rooms and decent rates. The rooms are clean and that's what I care about most. I don't want to sleep in someone else's filth.
Clean and affordable rooms. And nice clerks at the front desk. Quick check-in.
I paid just over $70 a night for my room.
