pediatric cleaning and exam 1/5/2012

Hello! Annabelle had a very positive visit yesterday, her first at NSD. I was a little surprised that she did not see a hygienist for a formal cleaning. At Dr. Bhanji's, she did have her teeth cleaned at each recall. Alicia explained that this was not necessary until about age 12, and I'm curious now as to why as part of my ongoing education regarding all things dental. :) Also, Annabelle was nervous about meeting Dr. Pickel even though I told her he is hilarious. I should have had her take off her headphones and sit up to meet him - and will do so next time. And thank you for the toy box treat - she loves it. See you soon for sealants. (Lindsey Amtmann) more

As always, a great dental experience 1/5/2012

I found Dr. Pickel and North Seattle Dental through a friend several years ago after moving to Seattle. I've had nothing but great experiences with him and his staff. The office environment - equipment, furnishings, lighting, technology - is first-rate and Dr. Pickel and his staff are professional and friendly, and of course the dental work I've had done has been superb. Visit Dr. Pickel and North Seattle with confidence. more

I love them at North Seattle Dental!! 1/5/2012

Dr. Worstman and the rest of the staff there are super friendly, and they all do great work. I completely trust the health of my teeth to everyone there. As an added bonus, I love that I can just lay back and watch TV while Kelly is working hard on my teeth cleaning, and Elizabeth is so sweet with my 8-year-old whenever I bring him in for his appointments. Growing up, I used to feel anxious whenever I would go to the dentist's office, but no matter what mood I am in when I go into the North Seattle Dental office, I come out with a smile on my face. And my son has absolutely no fear of going to the dentist's office... even though he's had to get fillings. This may sound over the top, and I'm not usually one to take the time to write a review about a business, but I just want to give credit where credit is due. North Seattle Dental pretty much rocks! more

Always a great experience! 12/28/2011

I look forward to my visits with Dr. Chris Pickel and his staff at North Seattle Dental. They are complete in addressing all my needs, as well as making me feel great about being there as a patient.I actually feel like part of the family when I walk into their office. I would recommend Dr. Pickel and his staff to anyone who is looking for a great experience they won't get anywhere else. more

Dr. Worstman and her staff are superb! 12/16/2011

I was a patient of Dr. Worstman several years ago but moved. I was gone for 5 and a half years. I had a sick tooth that was the result of some work by another dentist in the city I moved to. I came back to Seattle and Dr. Worstman prioritized seeing me, she quickly diagnosed the problem, made adjustments to relieve the pain and has provided me with a treatment plan. As she worked on the tooth she did not aggravate the pain which I so appreciate. I hate tooth pain! I am so pleased to be back under the care of an excellent dentist and if I move away again, I will fly home to Seattle on a regular basis to stay under the care of Dr. Worstman. more

Dental health saved. 12/9/2011

I knew my dental health was poor when I made my first visit to NSD and after my initial examination, found out just how serious my dental health was. Dr. Chris Pickel and staff assured me that after years of neglect on my part, I could be saved. Dr.Chris first designed an aggressive plan to treat my existing periodontal issues along with a cosmetic fix. Thanks to this office, I am on a structured preventative maintenance schedule that will restore, as best can, my dental health and appearance. We got more to do and we'll do it. Gentle dental and caring staff 12/9/2011

Barb is the best! My wife & I keep going back cause our hygenist has never hurt us. Our Invisalign treatments with Megan have been almost effortless. You won't find more charming & competent dental personnel than Dr. Pickel and his staff. Best kept secret in Seattle! more

Seattle Best Kid's Orthodontist 8/13/2010

Looking for an orthodontist for your child? Somewhere they will enjoy - and not dread going? You should seriously consider North Seattle Orthodontics and Dr. Elizabeth Lyons. My 9 year old daughter just finished 15 months of treatment there and now has beautiful straight teeth. The doctors are staff are wonderful, and the experience was great! more
