I really enjoyed the food...the multiple kinds of meat...oh man well I am not a meat eater and man do I eat like there is no tomorrow.

Disappointing! The meat was not that tender & mediocre in quality. They didn't offer the selection advertised. When the meat started coming around; we asked for for the lam...

""TO DIE FOR"" FABULOUS!!! 5/6/2010

This is a very hip-in-an-old-world-way boutique restaurant reminiscent of San Francisco or Paris. The food is imaginitive, varied, and prepared to perfection! On their endless ""salad and sides bar"" they serve the best Caesar Salad in the world. Pros: Food, Ambiance, Service, Prices - Best beef in town! Cons: That I don't make enough money to eat here everyday. more

Great and affordable place for very good food 11/1/2009

I recommend the sauteed collard greens and pikanha (top sirloin cap). The rest are also very good: their meat rotation, black beans, rice, and their cheese bread. Pros: best Brazilian Churrasco in town Cons: restroom more

Great Place for Meat-Lovers 10/13/2009

This is a great place to go for a nice long lunch or for dinner to celebrate a special event. Good price, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and lots of yummy food. The chicken with bacon was the best! Don't forget to mention Citysearch for the Special Offer! Pros: Great service Cons: Parking more

I'm addicted! 2/4/2009

Went to M-Grill for dinner this past weekend for the first time! WTF? how come no one told me about this place? Why did I have to go to $$$$ogo to get my Brazilian fix? I?m in love with the cheese rolls. They melt in your mouth! Just writing about them is making me hungry? and do they put coca in their black beans and rice, because I?m seriously addicted. I?ve been to many Brazilian restaurants around the county, but I?ve never tasted meat so perfectly marinated and evenly cooked as they do at M-Grill. The sirloin steak is my favorite, no wait, the prime rib is the best, actually, the garlic chicken is so juicy and tender? never mind, they?re all delicious! Need to go again very soon. Getting very hungry! Feeling with withdrawals. Pros: THE food! waiters are thumbs up, the feng shui is perfect! Cons: Only one location. more

EXCELLENT VALUE 1/27/2009

Perhaps one of the undiscovered little gems in LA. 1/2 block from the Wiltern Theatre and the Red Line (metro rail). I work close by and always take the subway to get there which is great. I don't think you could beat their lunch. At $18 you get all you can eat meat plus salad bar and hot food!!! Great place to take my clients and EVERYONE of them loved it!! Pros: service/price Cons: parking at lunch greats busy more

ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY GREAT 1/26/2009

I live in Miami and I definitely have to go to M-Grill whenever i go to Los Angeles. The location is great in the heart of Korean Town. The food is awesome with different kinds of meats. The salad bar is always fresh and delicious. It is definitely a place to try if you ever around the area even if its a little drive it's worth the try. Pros: Super cool place Cons: Must go more

mouthwatering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1/26/2009

PICANHA, PICANHA, AND MORE PICANHA!!!!!! For those of you who wonder whether I just wrote a bad word...i did not. Picanha or Top Sirloin Cap is the main cut of beef in Brazil. According to my delightful server and meat cutter you cannot get this cut of meat in any retail store. When cut properly, the morsels of goodness just explode in your mouth. And boy, M grill does a FANTASTIC job cutting it =) I am salivating just writing this...Oh, btw, we got there close to closing time, but they took care of us by grilling more meat as per our request!! It took a little more time, which I spent drinking my wine and enjoying my party, and the time was well worth it, cause the meat came sizzling off the grill!!!!!!!!!!PICANHA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Service and Price Cons: Little small more

Deeelicious! 1/24/2007

I just started a new job, and one of the managers took the newbies to the M Grill as a welcome lunch. I had never heard of the place, but was amazed at how delicious the food was. They serve some of the most succulent, flavorful meat I've ever had, and their chicken, especially, was awesome, and one of the best things is that it's all you can eat! (Tell your lady to bring her big purse, lol). Their service was pretty good, as well, but there weren't that many people there when our group went. It's a small, intimate place, so I would recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. It's great for dates (I'll be taking a girl I have my eye on in a couple of weeks) and would make a great spot for Valentine's day, if you call early. I highly recommend it. Pros: Delicious food, good service. Cons: It's on the small side, so you almost HAVE to make a reservation. more

Great place to satisfy those meat cravings 9/24/2006

Good looking restaurant, good service, lots of parking space, interesting buffet section, and plenty of meat. It is, of course, not the highest quality meat you could find out there, but you get to try a wide variety of beef cuts (as well as sausages and chicken) that are, considering you're only paying around $30, more than adequate. Pros: Food, service more

Nice place for meatlovers 5/15/2006

Great place, good atmosphere and very good service (the meat just kept on comin'!) and a nice selection of tender meat. Salad bar also well above average. All this for a very acceptable price point. Will come again... to eat lots and lots of slabs of tender, tender meat! more

overrated... 3/12/2006

i'd heard some good stuff about this place and was disappointed that it didn't live up to its hype. they didn't seem to have enough variety in terms of the meat...either that, or everything tasted the same. as for the buffet, i would hardly call that a buffet...a few greens and beans here and there. i'd say that the only good thing about this place was that the waiter was friendly. anyway, friends have told me to try fogo de chao on la cienega, saying that although it's more pricey, it's well worth it. Pros: good parking, good service Cons: no variety, nothing special more

Owner Message
  • Our goal at M grill is to offer a little taste of Brazil's cuisine and culture. We want everyone to feel welcome and to enjoy our food, service, and ambiance. What makes us different is that we've created an atmosphere where you can have a business meeting, a romantic date, or a very casual family dinning occasion. Ultimately, we want you to have an awesome experience with us!

Editorial
  • The interior of this modern Brazilian-style eatery is defined by a collection of black-and-white montages of street scenes, dancers and famous soccer players. Curved booths cater to larger parties and south-of-the-equator beats keep the vibe lively. Offerings include traditional dishes such as pastel (an empanada-style starter) and the Coxinha de Frago (dough stuffed with chicken and special cream cheese). There's also numerous steakhouse-style entrees--top sirloin, filet mignon, porterhouse--as well as a large all-you-can-eat salad bar and churrasco (meat rotation) that comes around to the tables.
