Los Cucos Mexican Cafe - Spring Cypress

I had stomach problems for six months after eating here. The food was horrible and the service wasn't any better. Went to the doctors several times after my hubby and I ate chicken. I had heartburn which I had never had before and after getting over my illness I no longer have again. Evertime I drive pass I feel sorry for the patrons. Please do not eat here you will wish you hadn't. more

Los Cucos dosnt only have great food, but a great aroma. If you have kids los cucos is the place for you because it has a really delicious kids menu. And it makes the best flan in houston. Pros: food and the water was good Cons: the parking. its too over crowded more

i was actually happy when i tuned 21. i can enjoy bear!!!!!!!!!!! it was my twentyfirst birthday. and my brother richard invited me to go to los cucos to get some great margaritas because he said he had read a really good reviews about los cucos. so we went and he ordered me a michelada. dat michelada has to be the best beverage ive ever had. i will come every fridays for this michelada at los cucos more

i hosted a party in los cucos about two weeks ago for 50. it was a fajita party with drinks. i ended up paying only 120 dollars . dats only 2 dollars and 40 cents pear each person. the food is very affordable and is also very very good. wich flavor is all that matters!!!!!!! more

i really like the tequilas i just sit in the bar and chill. i usually take like 4 shots, and i enjoy em. more

today i was feeling very sad because i my girlfriend and i broke up with each other. my parents had already invited me to los cucos , i couldnt let them down. so i stood up and went with a sad smile, i was about to cry. i sat down and i just relaxed. so like in about a minute we placed an order. i ordered dessert bto take the pain away. i ordered fryed ice cream . i dunno but the ice cream actually made me feal a little better. by the end of the after noon i left this place with a true big smile on my face.=D more

everytime i passed through this restaurant i saw it full at mornings and nights. I figured it must be good so i gaved it a try. i went on a tuesday afternoon and the service was excellent. i sat down and ordered some tacos nemed something like sergio tacos with a nice cold cola. i sat down and enjoyed it like if it was the end of the world. i fell in love with the food in this restaurant. now it has been my favorite restaurant. it used to be that you had to go to mexico to get great authentic mexican food. well you dont have to because you have Los Cucos. i enjoy a tasty margarita the american flag. and the pina coladas are badass they are delicious with alcohol or with out. i also love the fajitas more

i love los cucos because the food is great and i havent had a problem with the service. i also love this restaurant because i have fun and i love to be in a restaurant that serves authentic mexican restaurant and ill find it in los cucos. when i went to los cucos the hostess nicely sat me down and gave us our menus. then the water introduced himself very politely with a mexican accent. he asked us for ous drinks and went to get them. he gave us about a minute to order because the menu is HUGE. i ordered a fish well i forgot the name but the food was TASTY i enjoyed every minute of it. and it filled me up and it was delicious. i also ordered a cucorita margarita and it has been my favorite eversince. i love the girl who comes to your table and makes fresh avocado with all the toping that you want and tops it with these very delicious chips. i will bring my whole friends next time so that they can fall in love with this very delicious mexican restaurant. it was the first time that ive been here and i just fell in love with the food and the atmosphere. i love the stuffed avocado. the chips and salsa are very delicious. i love coming here and i will recomend this restaurant to all the people who love mexican restaurants. i will come back here. you should give it a try. My husband and I used to enjoy eating at Los Cucos located off Tomball Parkway (249 location). However, in the last 2 years, the wait staff has become very beligerent, rude and uncaring regarding their customers. So, we decided to use the carry out option, but that was unsuccessful as well as we never were able to obtain the food we ordered. Either the food was cold or something was left out, etc. My husband and I stopped eating at this location about 3 months ago when a very rude waiter refused to check on us regarding our drinks and food. The only person who truly cared was the guy who brought us our chips and salsa. He was very nice and very attentive. The actual waiter did nothing. In fact, he waited on and brought 3 other customer tables food who were seated 10 - 15 minutes after my husband and I were seated. We spoke to the manager about the behavior of this waiter as well as past issues with other wait staff and all he did was make excuses saying they were very busy with customer orders to fill. However, my husband and I don't eat out on busy nights just for that reason. We eat out on Wednesday or Thursday nights. Needless to say, after being served cold food, having to put with bad wait staff and a manager who could care less, we stopped eating there and have decided to patron other Mexican food restaurants with better wait staff, good food and fair prices. The prices for the food at Los Cucos has jumped to unreasonable prices especially if you can't get your food the way you requested it - HOT! We no longer eat there and don't recommend it to our friends. In fact, we recommend they NOT eat at Los Cucos and they have not. Cons: Does not have a wait staff that cares and has wait staff that goes in and out of the kitchen with non-wait staff (witnessed) more

My wife and I went to Los Cucos to celebrate after purchasing our first home in Tomball. I bit into a bone in the food. My tooth is sore and it cut my gum (Nothing major). However, the manager explained that it could happen anywhere due to how the meat is recieved and was extremely conceened about filling out an accident report and covering himself, without even asking me if I was alright. I tried to make the best of it for my wife's sake, paid the bill and left. I would not go back and cannot recommend this place to anyone. Overall I was unimpressed with the parking situation, the attitude of the hostesses and definitely the lack of concern with the well being of the customers. Pros: The service was not bad. I LIVE CLOSE TO LOS CUCOS ON 1960 AND 59 ME AND MY HUSBAND STARTED GOING THERE ABOUT 1 YR AGO WE LOVED THE FOOD UNTIL WE WHENT ONE WEEKEND FOR LUNCH AND MY HUSBAND SPOTTED A LIVED INSECT LIKE A "BEE" ON HIS FALUTAS, WE IMMEDIATLEY CALLED THE WAITRESS AND SHE CALLED HER MANAGER THE MANAGER CAME AN SAYD IT WAS FROM THE AVOCADO THEN MY HUSBAND GRABED THE NASTY LOOKING THING WITH HIS FINGER AND SHOWED IT TO THE MANAGER RAMON AND ALL HE DID WAS TAKE THE PLATE AWAY THEN WE JUST WALKED AWAY NEVER WILL WE GO BACK THERE AGAIN SO THE NEXT TIME YOU VISIT THIS RESTAURANT BE LOOKING OUT WHATS GOING TO BE ON YOUR PLATE. Have to admit when i find a dish that is the best i've tasted i tend to stick with it especially at a restaurant i do not get to very often. Los Cucos fajitas are the best. They actually caramelize the onions unlike most places where the menu says caramelized but the chef is too lazy. The platter that carries the sizzling meat includes the onions, peppers & tomatoes that have been cooked properly and add to the meat's flavor. The meat is good, plenty of it. I'm always pleasantly surprised here. The food is always fresh, varied, colorful and full of layers of flavor. I'm not a 'chain Mexican' regular because of the boring 'rice, beans & melted cheese' mentality, but Los Cucos has a choice of sides and GREAT salsas. They seem very capable of handling larger family parties, and split checks with a smile. Very clean overall ( I looked in the kitchen mid-busy shift), with friendly staff and a 'busy' atmosphere without being too loud to talk, despite huge dining rooms. Great fun and inexpensive.
