Decent 10/23/2006

This Los Compadres is decent. It’s nothing spectacular, but it’s an ok place to eat. They have specials on Margaritas and Wednesday is on price for all-you-can-eat food. I’ve been stuck at the table right by the front door twice, which is annoying to me—I feel like the person on the corner is the greeter or something. The waiters seem to be a bit absent-minded, regardless of how crowded the place is. There are also lots of TVs, usually tuned in to whatever games are on. more

This Los Compadres was disgusting! I have heard such great reviews, so I expected it to be awesome. My boyfriend and I got there and the place was kind of dirty, but not too bad. The waiter/host was fine, but he could have been quicker on his service. The thing that stuck out to me the most was the food: YUCK! I was excited and ready only to be completely dissappointed. I figured it was just me being picky, but my boyfriend (who eats anything) was even grossed out. Yucky! I wouldn't say to not go to Los Compadres..just maybe not the one on Pensacola Street...ewwww! more

Los Compradres- great food and service 4/14/2006

I love going to Los Comprades. The food is great. The service is great and the price is right. I also, always get my food hot which is very important to me. The service is very reliable and I have never had to wait to get a table more than ten minutes. This is a great Mexican restaurant that I highly recommend. Also, they have specials almost every night. more

YUM YUM YUM 4/13/2006

Los Compadres was "the place" for all the friends to meet and greet. We would all meet up and sit aroud a table for hours drinking margaritas and eating chips and queso. I love that you used to have to order by number because the servers didn't speak English. And I used to like the all you can eat night, but it caught up to me eventually, so I try to stay clear of the feeding trough on Wednesday nights. more

Excellent Customer Service 9/26/2005

My husband and I have been eating here for years. We love the service and staff. We even know some of them by name. They even know what we're going to order before we do! They are fast and reliable each and every time we visit them. The prices are extremely reasable too! Wednesday nights is their ALL YOU CAN EAT night and yes, we're there just about EVERY wednesday night! more

Cheap Mexican Food 8/16/2005

Los Compadres is a college student's best (and worst) on Wednesday nights. It's an all you can eat deal that night but be prepared for a long wait when school is in session. When you do get seated, order immediately and order everything at once because there's little chance your server will see you again. The food is ok, nothing great. But for $6, it's a good deal. more
