This is a wonderful dog park. There are two large fenced in areas, one for the larger dogs to play in and one for the smaller dogs. There is a lot of parking near the dog park and the park itself is very clean.
We love taking out boys there (2 cairn terriers). Sometimes we will bring a tennis ball with us to the park, but if we forget there are always a few spares in the park.

1. You can reserve books online and get an e-mail when they are ready for pick up
2. You can also renew books online
The people that work there are nice and features are wonderful.

When it comes time for your parents or grandparents to move out of their home and into an assisted living home, it is very important to take a look at all options. Recently, my Grandma moved to St. Augustine Plantation and she seems to enjoy it very much. It is a small assisted living home, with only about 50-60 residents. The staff has all been very caring and accomodating to all of her needs. Since it is family run, they cater very much to each resident's needs. They have regularly scheduled programs and trips out and around town. Each resident has a spacious room and bathroom to themselves. There are also one bedroom units available, which would work better for a couple. The residents are mostly cheerful and always entertaining. I think it is one of the better assisted living places around.

This place is great. Not only are the arrangements beautiful, they really stand behind there work. One Valentine's Day I was delivered a bouquet from them. Although it was beautiful, about 2 days into getting it, it was very wilted. I decided to call and complain. I recieved a new arrangement that same day. I have sinced used them everytime I need flowers for something and have never been disappointed.

Dorthy B. Oven Park is one of Tallahassee Parks and Recreation's gems that helped get Tallahassee Parks voted the best in America. I've been to several functions here: weddings, receptions, fundraisers, and even a small seminar. This is a choice location because of the beautiful garden, the large oak trees that hang a canopy of spanish moss, and the old manor where indoor meetings are held and receptions can be held. The park itself is very small, but has enough open spaces to host a large outdoor brunch or a medium sized garden wedding. Parking is a concern, but the nearby churches are usually willing to work with you depending on the date and size of the event. The rental prices seem very reasonable, making it a great option for any event on a budget.

Lafayette Community Arts Center is a part of Tallahassee's award winning Parks & Recreation Services. The center offers a variety of Arts & Crafts classes for children and adults, and is an inexpensive way to get involved with the local art community. I have personally taken a beadwork class, a basic sewing class, and a drawing class at the Center. All have been taught by friendly and knowledgeable members of the art community. I have heard great things about the "No Fear" line of classes, but have been unable to fit one in my schedule. For kids this is a great recreational activity, and they have summer camps directed at children who are interested in arts. Classes run about $35-45 for 8 week sessions which is much, much cheaper than art studio classes. There are classes to fit most schedules (day and evening). Most classes encourage students at all levels to join (unless level is stated in the title), but the instruction is geared towards beginner to intermediate. If you're advanced at a medium of art or a craft, apply to lead your own class and give back to the community!

They take such good care of the animals they take in and it seems they get no credit. Animals are well fed and cared for in their temporary home before finding a permanent home. The employees are really great and professional, they are so giving and really love what they do.

Blessed Sacrament is a pretty run of the mill Catholic Church. There are some definite highlights, one being perpetual adoration. The chapel is opened 24 hours a day for adoration. Most of the masses are pretty traditional, not much new age music or odd standing or kneeling practices like some churches. Most of the music is organ, with some piano as well. The 10:30 am Sunday mass typically has a choir that sings a song or two. The priests there are wonderful, but also very different from each other. One likes to hurry things along and has typically quick to the point homilies, while the other priest tends to have long homilies. The church is a very involved parrish with many outreach programs. The congregants range from very old to very young. Overall I would say Blessed Sacrament is a mostly traditional parrish with a very devout population.
