I just moved here from Miami transfering to FSU. I was telling my friend about my disappointment with the shopping in this small town when she told me about Divas and Devils. When I drove up I didn't think it was much until I went inside. WOW! This store has a better selection than all the stores I used to frequent in Miami. I LOVE TO SHOP and have found my new favorite boutique. Not only do they have everything I could possibly want but the store is so cute. I was looking for their website online when I found this review instead. I read the other reviews and was surprised to here about no sales and bad customer service. Half of the items I bought were on sale and the people working were awesome. They brought me over 35 pairs of jeans to try on until I found the perfect pair. Very helpful and patient. I'll be back as soon as I make more money. Still couldn't find your website though.

I love going into the Quarter Moon! It always smells nice inside and I can find unique and comfortable clothing. This store also offers seminars, readings, and aura photography as well as the usual metaphysical stuff.

Narcissus, in the Market Square area, is a great shop that offers swimsuits by all the hot brands such as Juicy Couture, Lilly Pulitzer, and more, and it also has lingerie by On Gossamer and other higher-end brands. It also has an extensive variety of higher-end clothing by Lilly Pulitzer, James Jeans, and other boutique brands. Prices are not all that great; I can get Juicy Couture for cheaper at Nordstrom; but their big sales are hard to beat. They also have shoes and flip flops, beachwear, jewelry, and Kama Sutra items. They even have Lilly Pulitzer for kids there, both for swim and for playwear.
The salespeople range from very helpful to not helpful at all, depending on who you get. One may get the impression that the store has gotten so big that they really don't need your business, but again, it depends on the salesperson. Some are extremely helpful. The dressing rooms are ample and there is even a box of toys for kids to play with while their moms are trying on things. The place is very well organized.
If you are looking for a great swimsuit, don't hesitate to check Narcissus out. If you want one that is a great deal, go in August. They are very good at displaying sale signs in their windows and advertising their big sales.

This is a great little women's apparel intimate shop. They have the most adorable lingerie and novelty gift items. The prices here are extremely reasonable and they have a great variety. the only thing that bothers me is the owner who works in the store, he is kind of creepy, but what do you really expect from a lingerie store owner? If you can go with a friend, it will make shopping easier. If going for Valentines Day make sure to go early, they sell out fast. They also have occasional specials on adult videos.

My husband is very picky about his tennis shoes but he found a pair of New Balanced that he liked here at Shaw's so he was happy. I saw a pair of heels that I wanted so we both ended up walking out with a pair of shoes and the price was good too so I was pleased.

Trixi and Grace, located in the TJ Maxx shopping center area, is a great little clothing shop for women and girls. Brands include Seven for all Mankind, Michael Stars, and BCBG. There are tons of trendy dresses, skirts, and tops, and the salespeople are friendly and helpful. Occasionally they have some very good sales. The only downside is the prices; most of the clothes are pretty pricey. It would be best to get a couple of key items that you can't live without and then get the rest on sale or elsewhere, if you are on a budget. With jeans averaging in the $140 range, and tops averaging in the $40 and up range, one can easily spend $2-300 on just a few pieces. So just be aware that you will be getting some well-made, trendy and fun pieces, but that you will be paying a good bit for them! But it is nice to have a cute shop like this in our area, so I try to support them when I can.

Everything I have ever needed they have and if not they can get it for me. They have decent prices and great selection of all different sporting goods and equipment. Great location, I can get in and out without a fuss and the salespeople are very helpful at finding what you need.

Ok, maybe not disco. But you can find all things retro here. I found a great Sakks jacket from the 70's here for $20. I can't say that this is the cheapest thrift store in town, but that's not really its aim. Velvet Vintage is more about quality over quantity. Almost everything in the store is in excellent condition, name brand, and relevant on the fashion scene. A great little store for something to spice up your wardrobe or just add to it.
