Joe's Crab Shack

I recently went here with a group of friends, and almost everyone ordered crab. Which is good for Joe's Crab Shack. However, if you have that one friend that's not so sure about seafood, it's really not the best place to go, as they have little on their menu that it is either plain fish or even chicken. They have recently started serving salad and bread with all entrees like Olive Garden. It's not a bad idea, but not what you'd expect from a place like Joe's. It used to only be about $1 to add a salad on, so I don't think the free salad was necessary. They must be trying to change their image somehow. It was very loud, and our service was only okay. It's not close to my home, and I don't know that I'm in a rush to go back. more

First of all, the environment in here is just extraordinarily fun and alive. There is singing and dancing from the staff and everyone is very friendly. Let them know it's your birthday and they will come sing at your table. I like the salmon here because it isn't too sweet and tangy, if that's your taste. The lobster is also a good choice. The price ranges from $6 for appetizers up to $23 for dinner plates, so it is on the high end side. This is a good place to brighten up a boring day--family is welcome. more
