Does anybody actually ever have that preffered card when they ask for it? I never do! But the cashiers are always nice and friendly enough to scan it in for me. I have always preferred Jewel over Domicks just because I find their selection to be a lot better and their pricing to be even better than the selection. They have great deals here and at the register they have these bonus buys every week that are usually a great deal. Did you know that if the cashier forgets to point out the weekly power deal you get it for free? Yup, its true! more

Prefered Card Please 5/6/2006

Me and probably half the Chicago population has a preferred card in their walet. I always grateful when I save money on grocerys. Most of their stores are very clean and well organized and stock alot of folks favorite foods from A-Z. They all differ in size and how big certain departments are depending on the location. You can save even more cash at Butera overall but Jewel's quality is a little better and it is a bit less expensive than Dominick's. More and more organic foods are also being sold at Jewel for less than some other grocery stores. more

Jewel Osco 4/8/2006

Jewel Osco is a great grocery store. Some of their items may seem high but if you watch the sale ads and use your preferred card then the savings will really begin to add up. Also I like the fact that you can print out the weekly specials when you enter the store. It's really a great way to make shopping simple. This is also a great place to pick up your pharmacy-health care needs. more
